Job Summary

This position will join a team of transformation leaders to streamline processes and harmonize systems, while enhancing data governance across multiple platforms. The role collaborates closely with business units to align their objectives with West’s technology strategy, which focuses on enabling a secure and sustainable digital infrastructure. This involves eliminating the proliferation of disconnected technology deliveries and ensuring consistent, structured execution.
As Director, Digital Business Integration for Corporate Functions (HR, Legal, HSE, Finance, and Corporate Development) , this leader will serve as a strategic partner and liaison; bridging business needs with technology solutions, while driving alignment, consensus, and adoption across global functions.

Align business and technology strategies to enable faster, more effective deployment of digital solutions primarily for West's Corporate Functions.
Standardize and harmonize processes and data across functions and regions, creating a single source of truth and significantly reducing operational complexity.
Provide independent focus on optimization and efficiency , minimizing the impact of functional silos and avoiding day-to-day operational distractions.
Enhance agility and responsiveness , enabling faster adaptation to organizational changes, market dynamics, and business needs.
Shape and execute West’s digital strategy , ensuring alignment between enterprise transformation goals and the evolving technology landscape, while driving innovation in support of business priorities.
Partner with leaders across HR, Legal, HSE, Finance, and Corporate Development to ensure technology investments deliver measurable value and are fully integrated into functional strategies.
Act as a champion for process discipline, data governance, and risk management ; ensuring compliance with global standards while enabling flexibility for local needs.

Additional Responsibilities

Manage a team of around five resources with expertise in digital finance, procurement, and human resources.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, information systems, or related fields, or equivalent experience

Work Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience in project execution, process design, and/or systems implementation
Experience with SAP (S/4HANA preferred), specifically with Financial Accounting, Controlling, and Human Capital Management modules.
Experience in the integration of SAP FICO module with HR Systems.
Experienced business partner with a strong track record of collaboration with C-level executives

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong knowledge of and experience with leading practice budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and accounting principles for the typical business processes of a Life Sciences manufacturing company (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Hire to Retire, etc.).
Ability to manage change effectively, including strong interpersonal communication skills that can be adapted to various levels of the organization.
Experience with Agile project management framework, including setting goals, creating sprint plans, tracking progress, and holding teams accountable for timely delivery.
Experience and/or training in Generative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, SAP BW/BI, Microsoft Power BI, and other tools in the Microsoft Fabric Platform or similar tools for process automation.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams collaboratively, encouraging resilience and maintaining a positive mindset.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and recommend best practice solutions.

Job Summary (Primary function)

This position plays a key role in operationalizing the alliances and partnerships projects for pre-commercial and launch activities, towards external vendors and partners.

The Manager global projects commercial launches has a global exposure and requires advanced project management capabilities as well as good communications skills. This position is responsible for leading key strategic projects (such as Commercial Product launches, Product life cycle projects) affecting the Technical Operation organization.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities)

Coordinate the activities required within process chemistry, pharmaceutical and analytical functions to ensure submission readiness of drugs into international markets
Oversees cross-functional coordination incl. budget and timelines.
Leads coordination of IRs/RTQs (CMC related) internally and externally (alliance partner and CMO)
Manage the GMP/GDP readiness of new products for international markets
Manage Technical Transfers between sites in case of local manufacturing requirement as per alliances and partnerships contract obligation.
Ensure deliverables are met in timely manner.
Provide support to analytical testing activities (registration, method transfer and import testing) for international markets
Develop full-scale plans and timelines with input from all required departments including:

- Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Schedule, track milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Identify and manage dependencies and critical path.
- Conduct Lesson-learned when applicable

Manage and lead cross-functional project and/or program teams, ensuring diverse perspectives and inclusive collaboration.
Lead meetings and ensure that meeting agendas and minutes are issued in a timely manner.
Provide consolidated dashboards for GTO launch operations for all assigned projects
Ensure that communications between teams, functional management, senior management, and executive leadership are handled in an efficient, effective, and timely manner, using inclusive language and practices.
Support deployment and maintenance of Project Management IT and AI Tools

Broad knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain and GDP/GMP practices.

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels.

About the role:

The Quality Technician I role in Core Tech Polymers (CTP) is the first point of contact for production personnel regarding quality issues.  The quality technician is responsible for documenting non-conforming events as well as identifying and segregating impacted material.  The position requires creative thinking and investigation skills to resolve problems that arise on extrusion production floor. The quality technician will be responsible for supporting multiple production lines to keep material flowing and assuring quality requirements are maintained throughout the process. Technical aptitude will be a key component as much of the technician role involves working with technology systems including MES, SAP, downtime tracking, and DataMetrics among others.

Your responsibilities will include:

Investigate and document non-conforming events in eCAPA system
Perform project and product testing
Assist engineers in failure analysis
Provide direct quality support for day to day production floor operations
Learn and create setups in Statistical Process Monitoring (SPC) program
Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects
Assist with quality issues and quality metrics related activities.
Document non-conforming events and quarantine impacted material
Perform testing, gather data, and analyze results of product testing and process monitoring.
Assist with CAPA activities
Use documentation systems to research information and generate Change Requests.
Assist in the investigation and disposition of nonconforming materials, designs and/or systems.
Review device history records (DHR) and acceptance records to ensure all activities in the Device Master Record (DMR) have been performed and approved.
Update databases and spreadsheets used to track, monitor, and report department activities.
Use the inventory and traceability management systems to transact and research material
Communicate with a wide variety of BSC personnel in and outside of the plant.

Required qualifications:

High school diploma/degree/equivalent work experience

1-2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with AI-based models for forecasting, including knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data science principles.
