Optical Modeling and Simulation:
• Develop sophisticated software models serving as digital twins for various optical systems, sub-systems, and components.
• Utilize advanced software tools (e.g., LightTools, Zemax, RSoft, SolidWorks, etc.) to simulate light-matter interactions and optical propagations.
• Predict optical performance, analyze KPI tradeoffs, and determine manufacturing tolerances through detailed simulations.
Performance Validation and Optimization:
• Combine modeling techniques with laboratory data collection to validate the capabilities of proposed optical architectures.

- Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Optical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in optical design and simulation.
- Extensive knowledge of optical simulation software (LightTools, Zemax, RSoft, Fred, SPEOS…)
- Strong understanding of optical system, display optics, and visual optics.
- Strong skill in scripting (Python, MATLAB…).
- 7+ years of work experience in consumer electronics.
- Proficiency in CAD design software such as Solidworks.
- Experience in scripting using optical simulation software APIs and/or macros.
- Experience with design and development of optical systems requiring a combination of illumination, imaging, stray light mitigation, radiometry/photometry, holographic/diffractive optics.
- Experience with AR/VR optics include transparent displays such as waveguide displays.
- Knowledge on display manufacturing.
- Experience with leverage AI tools for engineering solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize complex optical systems.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of driving innovation in optical engineering projects.
