Key job responsibilities
Build and test complex fiber optics assemblies, opto-mechanical assemblies, lasers, and amplifiers.
Develop innovative improvement strategies to enhance the efficiency and quality of existing manufacturing processes.

A day in the life
This lab engineer will be a member of the Inter satellite Link (ISL) team with responsibilities of improving the manufacturing processes and methods necessary to reduce build time and increase throughput. In this role you will work in close contact with the design engineers, building and qualifying new designs, while supporting other activities as such as system test campaigns or manufacturing line troubleshooting and process improvements.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Engineering degree in optics, photonics, physics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years working in engineering/scientific laboratory
- 5+ years’ experience in fiber optics process development or manufacturing, including stripping, cleaving, splicing and recoating
- 5+ years’ experience testing optical systems (free space, fiber optics, lasers)


Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
- 10+ years working in engineering/scientific laboratory
- 10+ years’ experience in fiber optics process development or manufacturing, including stripping, cleaving, splicing and recoating
- Experience with optical measurement on high precision optical components and systems, such as interferometry, transmission and reflectivity, laser beam characterization etc.
- Experience running HALT and HASS test campaigns
- Experience in troubleshooting and servicing optical, electrical or mechanical equipment
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: thermal management, manufacturing automation, test automation, mechanical design, Python scripts.
- Strong Mathematical/Statistical/Physics fundamentals.
- Strong operational and organizational skills

  • Reviews account balances and reconciliations to validate financial positions and credit exposures, applying corrective actions and recommending policy updates. Evaluates customer creditworthiness using scoring methodologies and financial analysis, assigns credit limits and risk categories, and manages instruments such as credit insurance, letters of credit, and guarantees to mitigate risk.

  • Analyzes financial and credit data to identify trends, discrepancies, and risk indicators; prepares clear, actionable reports and presentations for management and credit risk committees. Collaborates across teams and with external stakeholders, facilitates release of blocked orders, and drives improvements in communication, compliance, and customer engagement.

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years’ experience as a credit risk analyst for business-to-business

  • Your skills include expertise in continuous improvement, due diligence, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with strong capabilities in accounting, risk assessments, and cash flow management, supported by proficiency in data analysis, and reporting. Your key responsibilities

You will be responsible for partnering with Business Technology Leaders, Solution Delivery Leaders and Architects in the definition and delivery of long-term business and technology strategies for one or more portfolio(s) through the application of domain knowledge and enterprise analysis, fostering reuse and continuity throughout.

  • Plan and manage the BA approach, communicating, driving and managing the business analysis effort for the Portfolio throughout all phases of the ATTG project life cycle.
  • Lead a team of BAs assigned to program/portfolio project(s), ensuring comprehensive business analysis is performed on all projects across the assigned Portfolio/Programs. Also, will perform hands-on BA work directly as needed.
  • Actively review requirements traceability for impact and coverage analysis throughout the Portfolio.
  • Work with the Business Analysis Community of Practice to ensure consistent application of the Solutions Delivery and ATTG standards and methodologies and advise on exceptions.
  • Lead the QA Engineers and review their test plans and drive the quality of the solutions.

To qualify for the role you must have
