US – Tax – Indirect Tax Technology and Transformation – Senior Manager - Tax Platform Engineer
As a senior manager you'll continuously enhance your proficiencies in the design, promotion and delivery of major technology tools, including application development, data acquisition and transformation, and data analytics and visualization/reporting. You'll work side-by-side with tax-technical subject matter professionals (SMPs) to develop and deploy data and technology solutions that will enable our tax-technical SMPs to efficiently and effectively deliver quality tax consulting, with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations.
Your key responsibilities
We'll look to you to challenge the effectiveness of the tax technology strategy and approach for all engagements while developing strong relationships across a network of existing and future clients and key stakeholders. You'll identify opportunities for the use of technology to accelerate and enhance delivery of indirect tax services and actively participate as member of pursuit teams and service delivery teams supporting various client projects including working with executive-level stakeholders, developing transformative solutions, and fostering deep client relationships. Your Experience
5+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and delivering value to Enterprise or Major-level accounts in the cybersecurity industry.
Extensive platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers.
Experience selling SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOC and SOAR solutions is highly preferred.
Established trusted relationships with CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drive strategic conversations
Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results.
Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment while collaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams.
Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within a matrixed sales organization is preferred
Willingness to travel domestically as necessary to meet business needs.
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be betweenThe offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. What you’ll accomplish
Manage delegated compliance, administrative and business functions related to the Merrill Wealth Management Market Executive's overall managerial responsibilities for parent and associate offices

Responsibilities:
Performs, monitors, and demonstrates adherence to internal and external standards, policies, laws, rules, and regulations related to client advice and recommendations, sales practice activities, and conduct of market personnel
Manages day-to-day Financial Advisor (FA) business needs, while ensuring adherence to the bank's compliance policies and procedures
Coaches FAs, Client Associates (CAs), and other market personnel to drive adherence of policies and procedures related to the sales practice conduct
Partners with FAs, CAs, and other market personnel to manage risk of business growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with the bank's enterprise risk appetite
Required Qualifications:
Currently hold SIE, Series 7 AND Series 66 (or Series 63 AND Series 65), Series 9 AND Series 10 (or Series 8) or equivalent licenses
Series 3, 31 licenses, if warranted
Minimum of 5+ years professional experience
Proven ability to manage risk, make sound decisions by having a deep understanding of industry regulations, supervisory requirements, policies/procedures, wealth management concepts, and financial services products
Key Qualifications for the role:

A day in the life

- Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures
- Engineering degree in optics, photonics, physics, or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years working in engineering/scientific laboratory
- 5+ years’ experience in fiber optics process development or manufacturing, including stripping, cleaving, splicing and recoating
- 5+ years’ experience testing optical systems (free space, fiber optics, lasers)
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
- 10+ years working in engineering/scientific laboratory
- 10+ years’ experience in fiber optics process development or manufacturing, including stripping, cleaving, splicing and recoating
- Experience with optical measurement on high precision optical components and systems, such as interferometry, transmission and reflectivity, laser beam characterization etc.
- Experience running HALT and HASS test campaigns
- Experience in troubleshooting and servicing optical, electrical or mechanical equipment
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: thermal management, manufacturing automation, test automation, mechanical design, Python scripts.
