Senior WMS Support Engineer -Retail Services IncMemphis, TNAnalysis, design, implementation, operations, and support of the organization's IT resources, systems, and software/database products; develop information technology strategies, polices and plans; coordinate software issues with development and operation resources and supports configuration, security, monitoring, and reporting processes; integrate and communicate moderately complex information to audiences who are not familiar with the subject matter. Act as a resource to teammates; evaluate and select the right course of action using research, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills; implement enhancements, data migration, system migration, and integration projects; discuss and provide solutions to new business requirements; and perform configuring, development testing, and production support for WMS Systems, Material Handling Equipment Systems, RF Technology, and Manhattan Frameworks. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, HI, MT, NC, ND, SD, VT, and WY.
Employer will accept aMaster’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technologyand two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

This role will report to the Manager of North America Technical Services WCS. You will work closely with your Warehouse Management System (WMS) counterpart to investigate systems integration incidents between the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and the Warehouse Control System (WCS). You will also have direct interactions with Logistic Center employees and management responding to product routing issues and service requests. Cross-collaborative partnerships will be cultivated across multiple business units including operations, maintenance, IT and 3rd-party vendor partners.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONYou will troubleshoot and communicate effectively on varying degrees of production support incidents involving MHE Systems, Automated Packing systemsand Robots with the goal of minimizing downtime and impact to Nike’s revenue. You will ensure standards, processes and policies are adhered to within the department. You will provide input with regard to status, change and problem management. You will communicate suggestions for improvement to standards, policies, and procedures.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering,Information Systems or IT-related subject area or equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience
- Minimum of 1 year systems software support experience
- Competent and comfortable with SQL scripting
- Knowledge of warehouse systems
- Previous experience working with Warehouse Control System (WCS) applications in a distribution center environment, preferred
- Strong technical skills
- Comfortable working around motorized equipment
- Schedule flexibility for supporting a 24x7 environment
