Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do…

  • Leads the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and responsible for the line’s success.
  • Evaluates daily/regularly operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.
  • Lead a team of individual professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding and capability.
  • Solicits and evaluates ideas for improvements and collaborates with qualified personnel to develop project proposals.
  • Provides technical and operational advice.
  • Engage in training and coaching of employees.
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.
  • Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
  • Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing individuals on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance to manufacturing standards.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required)…

  • 3-4 -year previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment .
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Timekeeping management and reconciliation.

Here are a few of our preferred experiences…

  • Experience in the daily supervision of 25-45 employees.
  • Ability to interface and communicate with different levels of the organization including cross functional teams.
  • Lean principles knowledge and experience
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred

  • Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the line’s success.
  • Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies and quality.
  • Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution. Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability.
  • Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
  • Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
  • May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
  • Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
  • Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.
  • Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
  • Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.

Here is some of what you’ll need:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 year experience managing individual contributors/large team
  • 3 years’ experience in Logistics and Manufacturing field
  • Manufacturing experience required
  • Ensures compliance of standards
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excel, word And PowerPoint experience.

  • Evaluate ideas for plant improvements and work with qualified engineers to develop project proposals to encourage improvements and changes.
  • Providestechnical/operationaladvice to project teams.
