Description:

Purpose: Supports the operations leadership team by passing direction from the office to the warehouse floor. Works closely with operations associates, forklift operators and external drivers to ensure efficient and timely work flow through the Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for counting the quantity of cases on trucks, verifying the accuracy of loading sheets, and completing settlement sheets
• Checking in/out of external drivers and handling any of their questions/inquiries
• Keep records of driver interactions on the daily dock schedule
• Respond to emails in a timely manner and answer incoming phone calls to the Shipping office
• Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by supervisor
• Determine storage areas for incoming shipments by assisting in the selection of appropriate space within the warehouse
• Ascertain that all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly labelled and that correlating documents are available with each shipment
• Process and organize daily Shipping/Receiving paperwork in a timely fashion
• Communicate clearly and appropriately with co-workers, contractors, and truck drivers Ability to develop and share best practices
• Help to foster a positive team environment that encourages all associates to provide insights and feedback to improve processes, adapt to an ever-changing business, and stay focused on customer satisfaction
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly working environment
• Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns
• Participate in Lean Six Sigma activities
• Other duties as assigned

• Inbound/Outbound Distribution personnel
• Operations management team
• External freight drivers
• Inventory Control associates

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large group of co-workers
• Positive and enthusiastic approach
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse environment
• Performance and metrics driven mindset
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word and working knowledge of WMS principles
• Regularly required to talk or hear; stand or walk; use fingers, hands and arms to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, push and pull for up to ten (10) hours/day
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment
• Ability to reliably attend work/scheduled hours

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum of two (2) years related distribution experience and/or training
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

Purpose:Responsible for daily operations functions within the DC. Direct the workflow in and around the Case Reserve department to include product flow. to and from Case Reserve in a safe and effective manner, while properly directing associates to complete assigned tasks. Responsible for continually improving the processes of the facility to increase the overall effectiveness of the operation. This role requires an effective professional communicator (verbal & written), professional team player and must work well with others, must have excellent prioritizing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting leaders with the information
  • Release wave by wave type individually in -non sort
  • Ensuring no waves are locked
  • Enter & track waves on the pass down as they are dropped & processed
  • If opening multiple waves of same type assign task to drivers
  • Assign drivers to work profile.
  • Knowledge of understanding when to wave profile allows zone picking
  • Manage sla locations
  • IBPD
  • Tracking LM printing reports
  • Responding to all emails in a timely manner
    • Repicks
    • QA/IC
    • Inbound
    • Mezzanine
    • Sorter
    • Returns/Rework etc
  • Ensure Repicks & trouble tasks are picked in a timely fashion
  • Utilize the staffing model throughout the day
  • Communicating with shipping on dedicated flow
  • Assigning runners to transport & pack out dedicated (lead)
  • Managing putaway flow
  • Check for trouble task after every wave is dropped
  • Ensure a good flow of cases are at case break areas
  • Provide details on missed cases (lead)
  • Validating cases are 100% picked and in drop zone as we are completing
  • Support pulling or put away when needed
  • Check each picked wave ensuring it's completely completed prior to stating its closed. No cases are systemically showing left in location
  • Always ensure there are no loose pairs lying around either desk at shifts end, leave the area clean and ready for the incoming shift

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a large group of co-workers
  • Positive and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong knowledgeof DC operations, including storage methodsand material flow
  • Performance and metrics driven mindset
  • Excel, Outlook, Word and working knowledge of WMS principles
  • Regularly required to talk or hear; stand or walk; use fingers, hands and arms to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, push and pull for up to ten (10) hours/day
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment
  • Abilityto reliably attend work/scheduled hours
  • Occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance;lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to forty (40) pounds;and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl


Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
