  • Availability must be flexible and include evenings and weekends.

  • Hours are part time and will vary based on business needs.

  • You must have or be pursuing a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Three to six month’s experience working in a retail environment preferred.

  • Basic numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication skills required.

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and operate a Brannock device.

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

This position will play a crucial role in timely and accurate tax return preparation and filing, reporting accurate tax provision forecast, managing audits of tax authorities and external auditors, while strategically minimizing tax liabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and submit timely tax returns, tax computations and tax estimates
• Prepare group tax reports quarterly and communicate with global tax team
• Manage transfer pricing related matters and work closely with Global Transfer Pricing team to prepare necessary documentation
• Assess impact of tax legislation changes, improve internal process and provide tax advice to stakeholders
• Participate and provide tax advice on various projects to manage and minimize potential tax liability risks
• Manage response to tax audit / investigation by tax authorities in accordance with local tax regulation as a first point of contact for other departments
• Liaise with internal and external auditors

• Desire and ability to work closely and collaboratively with other stakeholders on various projects/issues at market and global level
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities at a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish and develop effective communication paths with various stakeholders cross-functionally and internationally


• Advanced degree in Taxation or relevant certification
• Proven work experience, 7 - 10 years, as a tax manager at multi-national entities or professional consulting firms
• Solid knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and tax returns
• Fluent in Japanese and Business Level English
• Familarity with SAP, Power BI and other adidas and industry relevant Finance systems/analytical software is a major plus

  • Scale the existing SEO testing framework, supporting regional SEO teams to conduct split tests that validate technical and strategic changes.

  • Evaluate and optimize page rendering strategies, ensuring server-side rendering (SSR) and hybrid solutions are search engine-friendly.

Requirements, Education & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in SEO, with a strong background in implementing strategies within an eCommerce environment.

  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a cross-functional organization, developing influential and collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

  • Very good project management skills, with a proven ability to lead projects from conception to execution and deliver measurable results.

  • Fluent in English, both verbally and written.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills, comfortable presenting complex topics to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
