ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position is on a team that does power characterization and performance analysis of Western Digital storage drives. The candidate will design, implement, document, and validate test automation framework improvements, test scripts, and bug fixes
- Power Characterization Test Engineers are responsible for configuring systems for test, then monitoring and analyzing drive logs, performance data, system logs, bus signals, etc., to determine test status
- Problems are then isolated, analyzed, and documented as they occur. The engineer may be responsible for developing and maintaining test scripts and automation.
- Actively participate in SAFe Agile methodology, including Daily Stand Up, Iteration Planning/Retrospective/Review, and Program Increment Planning/Retrospective
- Participate in feature demonstrations to end users and management
This is a co-op position and will last up to 8 months (January-August) based on individual university calendars.
The hourly rate for this position, based on year in school and other factors, will be $32.19-$36.11/hour.
REQUIRED:
- Students pursuing a Bachelor's degree majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related major. The ideal candidate will graduate in 2027.

Your key responsibilities
As part of EY Americas TRM function, you will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of various technology risk management program initiatives. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $152,700 to $294,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $183,300 to $334,100.
