Your key responsibilities

• You are responsible to provide leadership, functional knowledge and configuration skills to build EY Proprietary applications on top of SAP products.
• Responsible to deliver in a hybrid systems environment – primarily SAP On-Prem products, SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Cloud products.
• Responsible to deliver in the Agile process as part of a stable team.
• You are also expected to engage with partners and service providers to clarify any open operational or technical questions, reporting to the EY CT SAP Domain product management function.

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, a Person with 3+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO and knowledge/experience in S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance having expertise in Implementations, Rollout, Upgrade and Support Projects in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA. You will also be:

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Experience in requirements gathering, User Story creation and grooming, blueprint preparation, system configuration, testing, cutover, Go-live and operations.
• Work experience in relevant SAP Financial Services consulting services engagements or business environments
• Strong work experience in SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Private Cloud - Finance and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud - Finance through multiple E2E implementations
• Strong experience in SAP New GL, AR, AP, AA, Basic CO, Banking, BCM, and FSCM
• Understanding of integration points with the SD, MM, and FI/CO modules
• Experience in Banking and Cash Management
• Cost Center, Profit Center, Investment Management, Internal Order Accounting experience
• Product Cost Planning, Budget Planning and Forecasting experience
• Financial Planning and Analysis
• Accounting and Financial Close
• Data Migration with Migration Cockpit
• Financial Operations
• Education: Accounting and Finance (MBA/M. Com/CA/ICWA) or Engineering

You will play a key role in defining the way Private Equity ("PE") and PE Fund of Fund General Partners ("GP") meet their reporting requirements for fund controllership, investment books and records, regulatory, tax, and financial statements. Top-tier GPs and investment managers are increasingly looking to EY to provide operational services for critical functions, in parallel with their current custodians. Your key responsibilities

• Understand the intricacies of PE and PE Fund-of-Fund accounting operations and financial statement reporting
• Perform critical accounting activities, including capital calls, distributions, quarterly valuations, accruals, and transaction processing
• Be part of defining new procedures and controls to enhance the overall operational risk process
  Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and budgets
• Assist with managing risks and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
• Stay current on business and industry trends relevant to our clients, including the latest PE fund structures and investment record keeping standards

Skills and attributes for success

• Understanding of processes and ability to execute detailed procedures based on knowledge of fund controllership, investment books and records, and/or financial statement processes, and regulatory filing principles
• Knowledge of the intricacies in PE and PE Fund of Funds, fund controllership and/or financial reporting
• Knowledge of private equity and Fund of Funds investment characteristics and the application of regulatory and financial reporting rules to those investments

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, economics, finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of work experience related to fund controllership, fund valuation, capital calls and distributions, board reporting and production of audited financial statements
• Experience related to fund controllership, investment books and records, and/or fund administration
• Analytical skills, especially an understanding of transaction posting, and investment trial balance debits and credits related to fund controllership, investment books and records and asset management
• Strong proven communication skills demonstrated through effective writing and presentations to clients and internal stakeholders; based on critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• An understanding of financial products and services, in particular private equity funds
• An interest in working in an environment which encourages continuous learning, development, and identification of opportunities for improvement of individual and team performance
• A willingness to work in an office when production activities require but will have the flexibility to work remotely (average 3 days / week in-office requirement)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• CPA
• Experience in financial statement reporting/analysis
• Effective leadership, project management, and organizational skills
• Experience with software tools including document management systems, workflow systems, partnership accounting, investment accounting such as eFront, Investran, or other investment sub-ledger software
• Experience in financial statement reporting/analysis

You will work in a group environment on challenging information reporting and withholding engagements across all financial services sectors. We offer the specialization in assisting clients with mission-critical operationaltax issues and customer reporting issues. Specifically, our experienced practitioners work across tax and operations to deliver advice and support throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with colleagues to assist clients in understanding relevant tax rules and implementing changes to their operations, processes and systems.Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and domestic withholding and reporting matters.You can expect to work on engagements dealing with the FATCA, cost basis reporting, and various other global compliance and reporting initiatives, such as the Common Reporting Standard (CRS). As you progress within EY and our CTORS tax team, you will become a trusted business advisor to your clients. As you develop, you will benefit from being led and mentored by nationally recognized tax professionals who include some of the firm’s most senior tax talent.

The CTORS Tax Services practice invests in the development of its team, with frequent virtual training, update calls and in-person trainings to help individuals develop technical skills and learn about new areas of the law. Through your experiences, you will develop your skill sets and learn how CTORS requirements are managed within large to medium size companies.

Your key responsibilities

You will interface daily with superiors, peers and subordinates and clients on large and small CTORS projects. This could include interpreting IRS Code and Regulations, drafting guidance, data analyzation and requirements development that help clients translate and implement these rules. You may conduct a gap analysis of the current state of clients’ policies, procedures and systems and write business requirements. You will be part of a team that prepares documentation including presentations and flow charts. You will be involved in technical analysis, process improvement and respond to requests for proposals from clients. You will also get the opportunity to support the development of innovative technology solutions, as well as train and manage staff located in remote delivery centers.

To qualify for the role, you must have at a minimum

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, and/or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience
• Be a licensed attorney, CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent certification or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation or have the ability to obtain one of these designations

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA, ABA, IIB
• The ability to understand and implement tax rules

• A demonstrated interest in tax information reporting and withholding work in Chapter 3, Chapter 4 and Chapter 61 or some experience working with these matters
