At Jacobs, quality control is crucial to the success of our projects and a key component of the work we do with our clients. As a Quality Coordinator, you’ll work with experienced Quality professionals to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance systems and processes. You’ll also work to ensures our technical services teams comply with established quality control processes. The Quality Coordinator works closely with the Quality Manager to identify areas for improvement.

Based in Cincinnati, OH, you’ll have the chance to conduct project audits for compliance with internal quality control processes, document quality audit findings, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). You’ll support quality improvement and training initiatives related to project quality.

You’ll be accountable for scheduling and technical quality of tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Set up and maintain project Integrated Engineering Database
• Extract data and enter into database (some automated, some manual entry)
• Issue, track, and expedite Isometrics and other Piping design deliverables
• Update Integrated Engineering Database to capture approved scope changes (i.e. DRN’s and CN’s)
• Maintain the following Lists
  • Piping Isometrics (ISO) List
  • Piping Line List
  • Manual Valve List
  • Specialty Items List
• Assign / maintain Construction Work Packages and designer assignments for multi-offices
• Support extraction of Progress Measurement / Earned Hour Reports (mid-month and end of month) and various spreadsheets and reporting
• Coordinate with designers for issuing Isometrics and maintaining isometric files to submit to client at job completion
• Coordinate with PAA for ISO issue

We’re looking for a skilled Project Engineer to manage and supervise subcontracted scope and material resources as required for a $200 million dollar design build project in Cincinnati, Ohio. You’ll be supporting the upgrades to the existing Little Miami plant providing biosolids treatment for the Cincinnati metropolitan area.

You’ll work full time onsite with the Jacobs design-build team, vendors and subcontractors to schedule and coordinate work between trades while ensuring technical documentation (submittals, RFIs, design changes, and record documents) is up to date.

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work with vendors, subcontractors and Engineering to achieve timely submittal approval
• Coordinate RFIs to resolution with the assistance of the Engineering team
• Expedite equipment to ensure on time delivery
• Coordinate and maintain the schedule associated with responsible scope
• Manage and maintain as-built drawings and documentation
• Assist with monthly cost projections for subcontractors and vendors
• Support project plan implementation for quality, change management, and safety
• Create and distribute meeting agendas, attend meetings, take notes and publish notes and action item lists

We’re looking for a skilled Project Engineer to manage and supervise subcontracted scope and material resources as required for a $250 million dollar design build project in Cincinnati, OH. By managing construction, installation and commissioning of process equipment, you’ll be supporting the upgrades to the existing plant providing wastewater services to the Cincinnati metro area.

You’ll work full time onsite with the Jacobs design-build team, vendors and subcontractors to coordinate on time delivery and successful startup of equipment in addition to working to ensure technical documentation (submittals, RFIs, design changes, and record documents) is up to date.

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Work with vendors, subcontractors and Engineering to achieve timely submittal approval
• Coordinate RFIs to resolution with the assistance of the Engineering team
• Expedite equipment to ensure on time delivery
• Manage the receipt, storage, handling, installation and commissioning of process equipment
• Ensure material/equipment is provided and installed in compliance with contract plans and specifications
• Coordinate and maintain schedule associated with responsible scope
• Manage and maintain as-built drawings and documentation
• Assist with monthly cost projections for subcontractors and vendors under their responsibility
• Manage the closeout process for subcontractors and vendors under your responsibility
• Support project plan implementation for quality, change management, and safety.
