VP, Product Marketing

Job responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Product to develop a deep understanding of what they are building and how it works to deliver differentiated value to customers.
  • Craft compelling pitch decks and assets with customer centric narratives and positioning for API B2B products
  • Act as a voice of the customer and market, keeping your finger on the pulse to understand our competitive advantage and provide a feedback loop to Product stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to name, bundle and package new product offerings in a way that makes commercial sense to prospective buyers
  • Co-ordinate and execute on cohesive launch strategy, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and working towards launch campaign objectives.
  • Develop marketing assets, such as demos working with designers and/or vendors.
  • Strategically identify opportunities to engage target segments, through comms or campaigns.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experienced B2B Product Marketer based in London that is comfortable hitting the ground whether rolling up sleeves to create sales enablement materials, pitches or battlecards for different audiences, or driving launch plans.
  • Proactive self-starter with an inquisitive mindset, who is able to ask the right questions and understand how things work in order to translate the value for different audiences.
  • Customer centric; you act as the voice of the customer and bring an informed point of view, applying a customer centric lens to everything you work on.
  • A storyteller, able to extract signal from noise, synthesise vast amounts of information from a myriad of sources to create narratives that are authentic, inspiring and differentiated.
  • A strong communicator that is able to translate technical detail into customer value without getting lost in complexity, or losing specificity.
  • Analytical; comfortable working with qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy and better understand our market opportunity.
  • A planner, who is highly organised and able to add structure around GTM projects to manage expectations with stakeholders.
  • A people person that is able to work with a range of technical and non technical cross functional stakeholders and different personalities to achieve results.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience working in Financial Services, Fintech or B2B SaaS strongly preferred
  • Familiarity of enterprise sales and selling within regulated industries
  • Confident positioning and creating narratives on technical products
  • Experience working in both a start up environment as well a more mature company a plus

Description:

The Middle Office will be responsible for managing the Front Office relationship for business requests in KYC Onboarding, Remediation and Renewals. The position will be required to facilitate the end to end client onboarding process, ensuring all due diligence documentation is sourced and delivered to the Wholesale Client Onboarding team to incorporate into the KYC platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new business requests received from the Front Office and facilitate the KYC process end to end

• Act as an SME and Due Diligence expert to guide clients through the KYC requirements and variation of documents which may fulfil due diligence requirements

• Conduct in-depth analysis on the ownership structure of the client on publicly available sources (not limited to company registries) or client documentation, and seek additional confirmation or approvals as required

• Work closely with the Front Oce and potentially direct with clients as required, to obtain all necessary supporting evidence to full KYC due diligence

• Follow up with Client Onboarding teams to ensure onboarding is completed within agreed timeframes

• Liaise regularly with the business to conduct workload planning, review status of key onboardings and prioritize open requests

• Frequently interact with key stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, Credit and Operations to develop strong partnerships, eliminate roadblocks and ensure continuity of information flow across the groups

• Assist Relationship Managers with overnight screening, client exits and any other KYC related tasks as required

• Manage personal workload and priority items and ensure timely escalation of key risks/issues to management

• Keep informed of any changes to processes and procedures, regulatory change and ensure open verbal dialogue with colleagues across the region

• Identify and execute process improvements, provide guidance and support on key process and technology initiatives to the business

Skills Required

• A working knowledge of KYC/Compliance/AML procedures and standards

• Knowledge of multiple client types (i.e. Corporates, SPV, Trust, F.I.’s. etc.)

• Knowledge of financial industry with in-depth expertise in various lines of business (Corporate Investment Bank and heritage lines of business)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong time management, organizational, relationship building skills

• Quality client focus, strong controls mind-set and strong customer service skills(e.g. oral and written communication skills)

• Prior experience of adhering to controls and compliance standards

• Ability to grasp/learn concepts and procedures quickly

Qualification & Experience

• Knowledge of KYC & Client onboarding is preferred with at least 2-4 years experience (Audit, Control, Risk, AML, and Research may also be areas of experience)

• B.S. Degree or equivalent
