In addition, your duties will be to:

• Planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of airport design and construction projects to ensure that goals or objectives of these projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

• Establishing the work plan and multi-disciplinary staffing needs for each phase of project and arranging for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

• Directing and coordinating the activities of Project Engineers, Engineers, and Technicians to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

• Typical duties are likely to include the following: Coordination with all complimentary disciplines such as civil (terminal, cargo, ancillary buildings), airport systems, civil infrastructure, public involvement and environmental, technical preparation and supervision of design and planning tasks, supervise quality reviews, participate in value engineering studies.

• Initiating and reviewing proposals as well as, participating in interviews and presentations as applicable.

• Maintaining positive relationships with current and past clients as assigned and informing senior management of potential opportunities to market Jacob's aviation services.

• Serving as a representative of Jacobs at client and stakeholder meetings relative to assigned projects.

• Developing, reviewing and obtaining confirmation of financial and project delivery schedule activities of design and construction as they relate to all disciplines involved.

• Identifying causes for revisions to projects and whether such changes are billable to the client.

• Assuring that project team complies with the contract agreement as well as exercises rigid cost control to implement the approved design within established budget restraints.

• Developing, coaching, mentoring team members and supporting continuous learning and development of employees.

As a, you will work in the areas of Traffic Engineering Design including traffic signals, interchange evaluation, roundabouts, signing/pavement marking, MOT; ITS Design including Interconnect design, DMS and system detection design. On the Traffic Operations side the areas include - traffic operations analysis, safety analysis and traffic macro/micro modeling. You will work closely with other members of the team in delivering traffic engineering projects including, signal design, pedestrian crossing systems, pedestrian safety improvements, ITS design, signing and marking, roadway lighting and/or construction traffic control plans, etc. You will develop leadership skills by providing technical direction and mentoring to less experienced personnel. As a Senior Water Resource Recovery Engineer in our Nevada operations, we'll expect you to:

• Thorough understanding of conventional and advanced processes within the water resource recovery market. This includes experience with liquids (preliminary treatment, primary treatment, biological nutrient removal, etc.) and residuals management (e.g., biosolids processing, digestion, sidestream treatment, etc.).

• Have experience with process modeling, hydraulic modeling, and cost estimating.

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world class projects including preliminary engineering studies, detailed design, and process optimization.

• Work with our global water resource recovery team on cutting-edge research, optimization, and design projects.

• Assist with team building and mentoring of younger engineers.

• Collaborate on and contribute to maintaining and building strong client relationship. Assist with business development and marketing efforts to help grow the business with both existing and new clients within the Nevada and surrounding markets.

• Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships.
