This role is for a highly dynamic and motivated individual that will work with manufacturing engineers to construct instructions and processes for technicians performing test operations. To be successful in this role you will need to define, procure, setup, and maintain test fixtures and test support equipment. You will partner with fixture and harnessing teams to ensure component standardization across the program. You will create the foundational production system standards and processes needed to achieve rate production.Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a point of support for test equipment and processes
- Create spacecraft hardware test procedures for technicians (standard operating procedures) and unblock issues arising during test operations
- Establish and increase the efficiency of environmental test processes to maximize output and enable products to rapidly transition from engineering development to rate production
- Identify improvement opportunities and execute initiatives to maintain safe operations, ensure product quality, reduce lead time and increase productivity
- Troubleshoot and identify ultimate root cause of issues in test processes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Establish production processes for 5S, FOD control, tool management, calibration procedures and visual management of production tooling and equipment
- Enable production test autonomy by challenging requirements, simplifying work procedures, and automating actions**This position will work a 4x10 schedule, possible shifts: Front Half (Sunday-Wednesday) Back Half (Wednesday-Saturday), 1st Shift (0600-1630) or 2nd Shift (1700-0330) **Export Control Requirement:

Basic Qualifications

- Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test frameworks
- 2+ years in a Space/Aerospace/Military/Automotive hardware testing environment
- 1+ years hands-on environmental test experience, vibration, shock, acoustic in compliance with MIL-STD-810, SMC-S-016, or MIL-STD-1540.
- 1+ years of project management of technical projects
- Demonstrated ability to interpret electrical schematics and Piping and instrumentation drawings.
- 1+ years working with Data Acquisition systems


Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years in a Space/Aerospace/Military/Automotive hardware testing environment
- Associate's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, or equivalent
- Previous work in one or more of the following disciplines; Structural loads and dynamics, thermal, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience running force limited vibration testing or other environmental test equipment operation experience and basic automation experiences (python or similar)
- Understanding of data acquisition systems and instrumentation selection. Experience developing processes and tooling
- Experience commissioning and troubleshooting test equipment. Demonstrated ability to scale production rate capability.

  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting support to end users
  • Assist with configuring and deploying all virtual machines; install and provide backup to all configuration procedures; maintain VMware backend capacity and stability to support virtual desktops

Essential Requirements:

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI); Security+ Certification
  • 8+ years’ experience as a network and computer systems administrator with similar responsibilities as above (or equivalent skill)
  • Extensive background working with Omnissa or Horizon VDI solutions
  • Must be certified in at least one of the following: Federal IT Security Institute-Operator (FITSP-O), GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Sec+ or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 4
