You will support the execution of the vision and goals for your Production Planning function.You will be closely involved in product lifecycle events and transitions to ensure the network production strategy delivers on the product portfolio vitality goals. You will partner with the procurement and materials planning leaders to create and execute your site Production plans. You will attend monthly SIOP Supply Review meetings at the site level to approve the site production plans and to present these and the associated risks and mitigating plans to the Functional & Business leadership in the Supply Review Meetings.The successful candidate must be capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals. Using Six Sigma techniques in a Lean environment, you'll be driving continuous improvement activities and achieving superior performance across KPIs (Key Performance Initiatives).Key Responsibilities:• Management of Demand Supply Alignment
• Management of SAP Production orders
• Create/Maintain MPS - Master Production Schedule for the Product Line
• Create consensus production plan
• Actively resolving issues with demand, capacity constraints and material availability – SIOP Cycle
• Collaborate with Procurement/Quality/Engineering to resolve Clear to Build Issues
• Close involvement on Product Improvements/End of Life Projects/Obsolescence
• Supports Inventory in maintaining accurate planning parameters / material master data
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of planning experience
• Demonstrable experience in SAP
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools/Advanced Experience in Excel Functions, Pivot Tables, and FormulasWE VALUE
• Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and delegate in a dynamic environment
• Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
• Problem Solving and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication skills and be able to work equally well with executives, supervisors, engineers and operators
• SIOP Knowledge
• Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing)
