· Commercial – as part of the team you will regularly advise businesses on valuations issues with regards to acquisition or divestitures and provide fairness opinions on transactions and restructurings;
· Regulatory and Accounting –you will work with management as part of an acquisition process to understand how the value of acquired intangible and financial assets will impact accounting requirements;
· Taxation – you will regularly undertake valuations for fiscal purposes in the US market and advise clients on all aspects of US tax valuation issues;
· Intangible Assets – within the team you would specialize in the valuation of Intangible assets such as trademarks, brand names, core deposit intangibles, customer relationships, banking and other licenses, patents, technology and know-how;
To qualify for the role you must have
· A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or business and at least 5 years of related business valuation work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related work experience.
· Previous Business Valuation experience
· Financial modelling skills including experience building models from scratch.
· Demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects
· Willingness to travel to meet client obligations
Ideally you’ll also have
· Previous valuation experience in professional services/Big 4 Firm
· Financial modelling experience
· Achievement of or significant progress towards a CFA;
· ASA/AM designations are a plus with the expectation of one completed designation within a given timeframe

Typically, Senior Consultants bring practical experience from either a professional services or industry background where you have developed your commercial and procurement experience.

In this role, you will:
Participate in engagements in a matrixed environment as an individual contributor under supervision primarily performing planning and scoping activities and executing testing.
Understand Risk Management Framework, IT&V’s policy and procedural guidance, three lines of defense risk management structure, and key risk and control concepts.
Develop functional Knowledge in risks, controls, compliance, testing, assessment of findings, escalation and reporting.
Gain knowledge of risk profile of engagement review’s subject matter (i.e. Enterprise Function, Compliance program, etc.).
Assess adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and control environment and understandsmarket/business/regulatorychanges to determine impact to engagement’s plan and scope.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
Understanding of audit, testing, risk, and control fundamentals.
Ability to learn and apply new methodologies (like AI/CoPilot) to testing work.
Full testing lifecycle experience that includes determining scope, designing test scripts, executing tests, identifying and escalating issues and risks, and documenting and reporting results.
Foundational understanding of the COSO Framework and Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) programs.
Ability to work well with minimal supervision and can accomplish targeted milestones by designated dates.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and interpreting datasets; ability to retrieve data from various information systems.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to research trends and analyze data.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
