Product Development Design Assurance is a global team within Product Development’s Vehicle Hardware Engineering (VHE) and Vehicle Systems Engineering and Testing (VSET) organization. Our mission is to enhance the PD Compliance Demonstration Report (CDR) engineering process through greater discipline and execution, leading to better performance in warranty and field service actions. In this role you will be responsible for providing focus on robust delivery of evidence for regulatory compliance on all vehicle programs.

The engineer will coordinate the sessions required to generate and follow up on projects to improve quality from conception to implementation.

• Engineer will coordinate and/or support as required the validation of design changes derived from projects to improve quality indicators

• Engineer will review and Validate the manufacturing process to confirm the proper execution of all Body Exterior Quality projects.

• Engineer will Verify and confirm that body exterior quality projects meets Ford Motor Company requirements.

• Engineer will Keep track of the Body Exterior Quality projects.

• Create and manage reports to provide status.

As The PD Quality Analyst, you will use your knowledge of data and advanced analytics to identify and articulate the role data and analytics products play in helping the business achieve their goals. You will use, AI/ML, Statistics and Optimization using GDI&A approved packages and architectures. You will use your knowledge of the product driven operating model, analytic and software delivery via Google Cloud Platform to optimize the delivery of value. You will interact with Manufacturing and PD to align with their needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the PD Design and Release team on Ford Specific Guidelines
• Drive continuous improvement and support cross-functional matched pair initiatives as required
• Drive robust Failure Mode Avoidance through Chat GPT, Quality AI and RD Mapping,
• Accelerate the application of value-added analytics and machine learning into the portfolio of products for Manufacturing Analytics.
• Work hands-on with the team and other partners to deliver solutions that meet our customer's requirements and needs.
• Act as a consultant to the business vs. an order taker.
• Balance "doing it right" with "speed to delivery" by identifying and mitigating risk, generating options, educating business and other decision makers, and taking on justified technical debt.
• Lead meetings for continuous improvement external and internal quality actions.
• Investigate feasibility of innovative technology solutions for external and internal quality concerns
• Document innovations from ideation to adoption within the traction system.
