In this position...

This pivotal, highly visible role sits within our Global Manufacturing Engineering Architecture and Program Delivery department and helps shape future model programs to be leaders in the industry. The Architecture Team acts on early insights with the Product Development Team to optimize all aspects of new model production. As part of this team, you will interact directly with leadership to deliver the following as it relates to the three major Manufacturing functions of Body Construction Engineering, Global Paint Engineering, and Final Assembly Engineering for a major area of a vehicle i.e. Upperbody or Underbody. Upperbody consists of but is not limited to exterior and interior trim systems, bodysides, cab, box, front end, etc. Underbody includes but is not held solely to powertrain, chassis/frame, floor pans, etc.

GME (Global Manufacturing Engineer) is a cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to plan for and implement the launch of new vehicle programs at assembly plants, powertrain & battery cell plants, and assemblies at component plants.
