Seeking a Security Software/Platform Engineer to support development, configurations, enhancements and maintenance of Identity and Access Management Applications / Products.

You will be a key contributor in a DevSecOps framework, blending development, operations, and security practices to build and maintain our Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) infrastructure. This position requires a candidate capable of managing concurrent and complex development and operational tasks, implementing secure, scalable, automated, and resilient access controls, automating security tasks, and ensuring operational excellence across the platform. You'll work primarily with GCP, understanding how different PAM/IAM systems might coexist or integrate across our enterprise.

As part of the engineering team, you will assist in reviewing, testing and deploying new technologies for introduction to the Ford network, such as new firewall models or cloud services. Activities include:

• Technology research
• Product comparison, evaluation, testing and recommendations
• Ongoing testing and code evaluation
• Deployment and ongoing support

Extranet Engineering team manages the Employee Remote Access service. This is a global service providing remote work capabilities to 100,000+ staff.

Other key activities include:

• Consulting services for customers seeking assistance when standard solutions do not suffice
• Troubleshooting (3rd/4th level technical support to other Extranet teams).
