About the role

This position is a member of the Urology Sales Operations team supporting the organization with responsibilities to administer and process the necessary transactions to support Sales Programs while also leading efforts for sales program design and strategy.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Support the Urology organization through the loading of detailed contract specifics into contract management systems.
  • Administer on-going maintenance of Sales Programs including amendments or other contract modifications.
  • Support the Urology Sales organization through the processing, settlement, payment and reporting on all applicable programs.
  • Create Customer facing documents for all Contract requests.
  • Provide detailed information to the sales force as needed for our Sales Programs.
  • Utilize contracting management system tools and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures as well as Work Instructions to ensure accurate and timely contract loading and reconciliation.
  • Work closely with the Urology organization, customers and members of various cross functional teams as needed to resolve price issues.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of contract requirements to ensure all relevant contract administrative obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support Sales Programs ad-hoc information requests from the Urology Sales organization and/or customers. The ad hoc reporting can include, but is not limited to sales data, Contract status as well as updated audit reports.
  • Provide Sales Programs progress updates and analysis reports as needed.
  • Work closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing and Finance on the development of new sales programs
  • Assist other members of the Urology Sales Operations team as needed based on business needs and requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience required.
  • 3-5 years of Sales Operations or Contract Administration experience.
  • Highly motivated, experienced individual with strong technical, analytical, contract administration and leadership competencies to work effectively in a sales organization.
  • Detail oriented, possess strong written and verbal communication skills and have advanced skills leveraging IT solutions.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications required. Experience with contract management systems i.e. Model N, FileNet, Contract Hub/SalesForce, SAP, SQL Database

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

  • Drafts various agreements including, but not limited to, master services agreements, research agreements, material transfer agreements, and design and agreements, collaboration agreements, license agreements and data use agreements.
  • Coordinates work of various departments and acts as liaison between the Legal Department and external and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with departmental staff, legal team, and other personnel involved with contract development and approval processes.
  • Manages IP Agreement process and helps to refine and makes recommendations for improvement of processes and procedures related to contracts.
  • Partners with IP Attorneys to collaboratively negotiate and manage contracts.
  • Provides IP input and IP language into non-IP agreements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • 3+ years of related experience

  • MNRC Expertise: Utilize MNRC to implement new contracts and contract changes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for MNRC-related activities.
  • Service Cloud Utilization: Use Service Cloud to manage, track, and resolve contract-related inquiries and issues. Ensure timely and accurate responses to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including Pricing and Contracting, IT, GBS, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless contract administration. Participate in team meetings and provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain updated tracking systems for contract management.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on contract administration processes and tools. Act as a resource for colleagues and assist with onboarding new team members.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, similar discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 years related business experience
  • Experience with Model-N MNRC, SAP, or similar revenue management solutions
  • Experience in Salesforce Service Cloud or similar customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with process improvement and project management is a plus.

  • Partnering with internal business clients to ensure agreements are consistent with corporate policies and processes, as well as the desired business arrangement
  • Advising on potential obligations regarding privacy (i.e. HIPAA/HITECH)
  • Advising procurement/sourcing partners on various contractual provisions within a wide assortment of commercial purchase contracts and other contractual customer arrangements (e.g. confidentiality, indemnification, limitation of liability, warranty, recall, etc.)
  • Keeping current on relevant legislative issues, statutes, decisions, and regulations
  • Establishing and supporting a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC's Quality Policy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years combined experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, with significant experience structuring, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Experience with master services agreements and statements of work
  • Understanding of contract law and legal concepts, including their practical application in a business environment
  • Ability to summarize and communicate legal concepts in a clear and concise manner at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a high-volume workload in a fast-paced working environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to independently meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-house legal experience supporting a broad-based contracting group; preferably in life sciences
  • Experience working in a cross-functional and collaborative business environment
