The Opportunity:
We, at Flywire, are seeking a
Data Warehouse Architect to join our Data Analytics team and further scale our data driven company.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between Data Engineering and Analytics to enable our end users to make the most of our data. You will handle data from all areas of the company and modeling that data using data modeling techniques, and succeed through the following responsibilities:
Business Stakeholder Engagement
- Gather and document complex business requirements translating business needs into technical concepts.
- Become a subject matter expert to support all business segments in defining data products.
Data Modeling & Transformation
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and reusable data models using best practice modeling techniques (Conceptual, Logical, Physical) within the data warehouse.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL transformations to clean, aggregate, and enrich data, turning it into analysis-ready datasets leveraging dbt.
- Optimize existing data models and queries for performance, cost-efficiency, and maintainability.
Data Pipeline & Orchestration
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines in collaboration with data engineering to move data from source systems and then transform it into curated datasets
- Utilize orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) to schedule, monitor, and manage data transformation workflows.
- Manage and support our dbt environment and workflows
Data Quality & Governance
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data.
- Define and enforce data governance best practices, including data definitions, lineage, and access controls.
Enabling Data Democratization and Self-Service Analytics
- Curate and prepare datasets specifically designed for consumption by data analysts, business users, and data scientists.
- Develop and maintain semantic layers that provide a consistent and easy-to-understand view of key metrics and dimensions.
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor Degree in Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- 10+ years of experience in an Analytics Engineering role
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Strong proficiency with dbt
- Expert modeling skills: Vault 2.0, 3NF, Dimensional Modeling, etc.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks)
- Experience with git and CI/CD deployments
- Experience with Python and Docker
- Experience with dbt-Elementary or Great Expectations is preferred
- Experience with dbt-Osmosis or Great Expectations is preferred
- Ability to communicate and follow up with internal stakeholders in a timely manner and excellent attention to detail.
- Experience with BI Tools (Looker or Preset) is a plus

We are looking for a senior network operations engineer in the satellite, antenna, and radio frequency space who will require a blend of technical expertise spanning RF engineering, satellite communications, and advanced networking technologies. Beyond technical skills, success in this role demands strong problem-solving abilities, continuous learning, and the capability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex satellite communication systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and performance excellence.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for escalated networking issues, including BGP peering, DNS failures, throughput bottlenecks, and path optimization.Develop troubleshooting playbooks, technical guides, and knowledge base articles to enhance case deflection and onboarding of new support engineers.
Mentor junior support engineers, providing case coaching, knowledge transfer, and technical escalation support.

Basic Qualifications

- Strong track record of analyzing complex technical issues and managing customer escalations through resolution. Experience documenting technical solutions and standard operating procedures.
- Proven experience using spectrum analyzers, monitoring tools, and standard test equipment for system diagnostics and optimization.
- Understanding of antenna specifications including gain, beamwidth, polarization, and radiation patterns. Hands-on experience in antenna installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong background in NOC operations with experience in emergency response and on-call support scenarios.

The Opportunity:
This individual will be responsible for working directly with customers and various teams on daily support and operations tasks. This role will include supporting Flywire SFS, eStore, and TPI products for the clients in US / Canada.
- Manage and complete tickets from customers and other departments related to Flywire’s platforms, ensuring the highest quality standards are met while adhering to the SLA requirements
- Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and with confidence any complex queries with customers via email or over the phone
- Understand various components of our products including how they function together and the workflow impact to customers
- Work hands-on with various web-based products and command-line tools in order to research and provide answers for various research and support issues
- Logically assess the issue, propose solutions to customers and work with development on enhancements for the product
- Serve as a highly effective mediator between customers and development when the situation arises
- Research requests and issues thoroughly and understand how to most effectively work with development on questions that require escalation
- Lean into our business domain and needs as well as our company vision, mission and strategy to deliver on our short and long term goals
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in technical support engineering
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including product and engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in Technical Support skills, like MYSQL, UNIX, HTML, Regular Expressions, and Shell Scripting
- Highly motivated and talented troubleshooter. Someone that goes above and beyond utilizing all resources available to identify the problem and provide accurate explanations and proposed solutions
- Able to translate highly complex issues to various levels of understanding based on the customer’s technical level
- Proficient in leveraging AI tools and crafting effective prompts to review, analyze, and refine customer communications.

- Experience in higher education or student financial support is a major plus - someone who can understand the student financial services for the overall higher education

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$90,000 plus restricted stock units and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, position level, and location.
