We use our Flywire Advantage - the combination of our next-gen payments platform, proprietary payment network and vertical specific software, to help our clients get paid, and help their customers pay with ease - no matter where they are in the world.

What more do we need to truly be unstoppable? Perhaps, that is you!

Who we are:

Today, we’ve digitized payments for more than 3,300+ global clients across education, healthcare, travel & B2B, covering more than 240 countries and territories and supporting over 140 currencies. And, we’re just getting started!

With over 1000+ global FlyMates, representing more than 40 nationalities, and in 14 offices world-wide, we’re looking for FlyMates to join the next stage of our journey as we continue to grow.

The Opportunity:

Flywire is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Payments Platform (Payment Acquisition Gateway - North America) to drive the evolution of our payment partner integration and acceptance infrastructure in the region. You will be a key leader within our Payments Platform team, responsible for owning how payment partners are connected to Flywire’s platform and ensuring those integrations are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance.

This is a highly cross-functional, execution- and strategy-focused role for a product manager who thrives at the intersection of systems thinking, partner collaboration, and global scale. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless and high-quality payment acquisition experiences, without owning the selection of payment methods themselves.

What You'll Do

  • Own the North American gateway roadmap, focusing on optimizing and scaling the connections between Flywire’s platform and its payment partners (e.g., PSPs, acquirers, financial institutions) for payments originating in United States / Canada (both domestic and cross border)
  • Ensure payment integrations are built for long-term scalability, performance, and reliability, working across engineering, operations, and infrastructure teams
  • Partner with the Payments Network team to bring new payment methods to life by leading how they are technically integrated into the platform, ensuring each connection is scalable, efficient, and aligned with Flywire’s global payment infrastructure strategy.
  • Act as a bridge between external partners and internal systems, gathering technical and operational requirements, identifying gaps, and driving improvements in the way partners are onboarded and maintained.
  • Define strategies and tradeoffs for partner integrations, balancing speed, cost, flexibility, and global reusability.
  • Drive alignment across engineering, partnerships, finance, and compliance, ensuring clarity of scope, timeline, and success metrics.
  • Support engineering teams with clear, actionable requirements while focusing your time on strategic direction, partner relationship management, and system-level improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in the product space related to payments, fintech, or partner-facing roles.
  • A proven ability to connect market needs to product outcomes, and influence stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Demonstrated success in go-to-market execution, product lifecycle ownership, and customer experience leadership.
  • Comfort with technical environments and delivery practices —enough to shape impactful solutions and collaborate with eng teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—you can represent Flywire at industry events and in partner meetings with confidence.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment, with a bias toward action, execution and results.
  • (Bonus) Experience working directly with banks, PSPs, or payment processors in the North American region.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation, including Restricted Stock Units
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
  • Flying Start - Our immersive Global Induction Program
  • Work with brilliant people that will keep you on your toes, learn more about their journeys by checking out #InsideFlywire on social media
