Job Description:
As an Advisor Development Program Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (ADP FSA I), your journey begins obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, where you receive dedicated study time for your Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7 and Series 66 Exams. Once you obtain your licenses, you will be taught the foundational skills needed to be an advisor – from acquiring, building and managing client relationships to considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives, all while humanizing financial interactions. Once you have reached your key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center where you will help to deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care. We will equip you with everything you need as you move through the stages of development.
Once you have demonstrated success as a licensed ADP Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically progress onto the next stage of ADP as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor (MFSA). In that role you will transition to a local Merrill Wealth Management office and continue to practice the skills you’ve learned in ADP by beginning to build a new portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients. As a successful MFSA, you will then have the opportunity to progress further within ADP with the ultimate aim of becoming a core Merrill Financial Advisor. The Academy will support you along the way with dedicated programs, tools and resources throughout your career journey.

JOB SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist Financial Advisors in servicing clients including preparing financial plans and conducting investment research.
2. Schedule and confirm client appointments, enter data in SalesForce, create meeting agendas and summaries, prepare/coordinate marketing events and perform general administrative functions such as answer and return calls, manage the expense report process, prepare routine client correspondence and perform maintenance of client records.
3. Manage the Financial Advisor's calendar to maximize the appointments' productivity by minimizing travel time and anticipating the time frame required for presentation and answering of questions.
4. Maximize sales opportunities by contacting potential investment clients based on internal and bank leads. Use product and industry knowledge to identify existing client, account, and product attributes that present sales potential.
5. Provide operational guidance to Financial Advisors ranging from systems navigation to document fulfillment.
6. Ensure new business paperwork is accurately and successfully submitted. This includes preparing forms to be presented to clients, obtaining appropriate signatures, submission and follow-up of new account documentation.
7. Mitigate risk through appropriate authentication standards. This includes the authentication of incoming and outgoing client calls. Required to perform authentication callbacks for high risk transactions, such as third party distributions, profile changes and wires.
8. Maintain a professional environment and create a positive impression.
9. Submit and process certain operational requests as instructed by the financial advisor and/or client. These may include: funds distributions, deposits of checks, journals, client and account updates, ACAT initiation and other operational tasks.
10. Work in coordination with the Financial Advisor to ensure certain reports are reviewed and addressed, such as insufficient funds for periodic distributions and RMDs not met.
11. May assist with physical branch location needs, such as opening, closing, general requests for maintenance or service.

The annual base salary for this position is $48,000.00 - $55,000.00. The annual base salary will be higher if candidates have the FINRA registrations.
