• Provide application support including complex problem research, analysis, resolution and 24X7 on-call support.
• Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards, including robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing.
• Will be responsible for end-to-end interface analysis, rationalization, declaration & definition Deposits applications and APIs production support.
• Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.
• Build in and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.
• Typically lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
• Solve complex technical and operational problems. Act as a resource for teammates with less experience
• May oversee the work of a small team and responsible for driving release/change management from planning to deployment and post validations

Responsible for providing automated monitoring capabilities through tools like Dynatrace and Splunk, providing warranty support, and providing knowledge transfer to production support. • Experience with building monitoring and alerting through Dynatrace and Splunk.
• Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies, Gitlab and schedulers.
• Solid knowledge of relational database design and development using Oracle, SQL, stored procedures, data modeling.
• Knowledge of specific applications, technology platforms, programming languages, systems, or business segments
• Banking or financial services experience. Knowledge of one or more of the following: Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills
• Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in Dense Wave-Division Multiplexing (DWDM) or Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol address (IP) or system design operations methodology.
• Experience working with field operation technicians, engineers, contractors or vendors in a telecommunications environment.

• Experience in one or more of the following disciplines such as layer 1 optical transmissions systems, layer 3 routing TCP/IP, wireless networking, network design or operations.
• Understanding of optical design trade offs and TL1/CLI automation.
• Proficiency in NPI and writing test plan documents in a lab or staging environment.
• Proficiency in creating long-haul optical designs using vendor design tools, applying technical judgement to a given optical design, translating to bits on the wire.
