Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be a part of the Global Oracle DBA team with focus on performance tuning, troubleshooting, design, deployment, and production support of Oracle database in a fast paced and dynamic environment. This role requires strong technical, organizational, and analytical skills. You will be responsible for ensuring Oracle Database is performant, secure and stable. You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems. This role will help design and implement future database and application solution strategy, technical design, architecture, and support for carrying out the implementation.

Responsibilities

• Deep knowledge of oracle database server internals
• Expert skills in writing SQL plus, window functions, set operators, pivoting/unpivoting, grouping sets, as well as building complex stored procedures
• In-depth knowledge on analyzing query plans, can optimize and fine tune complex queries and stored procedures
• Ability to operate in the high-pressure environment and troubleshoot complex issues quickly, and successfully handle multiple priorities.

Knowledge and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in administering Oracle RAC database
• 4+ years oracle database development
• 2+ years’ experience with database and system internals and performance tuning.
• Knowledge in Exadata operation
• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in writing, tuning and analyzing queries and stored procedures
• Experience with managing and troubleshooting databases in high performance, multi-user applications.

Responsibilities

• Summarize and document market data usage policies and distribution rights.
• Assist with processing source mandated changes to usage policies and pricing by updating documentation, maintaining internal entitlement systems and preparing materials to communicate changes both internally and externally to clients.
• System administration for ICE product entitlement systems; includes setting up new services, products and other features
• Review and resolve inquiries related to usage policies, pricing and billing issues, as well as entitlement system administration
• Provide support to the external audit defense team by researching audit related inquiries, providing entitlement system audit reports, and tracking remediation items
• Assist with various compliance related projects

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience in market data industry, including compliance and contract management/ negotiation background a plus.
