Roles & Responsibilities

A successful candidate will have a proven ability to influence without authority, navigating competing interests to drive mutual value for MSD customers and partners. You will work with the Division’s product teams to develop new initiatives & programs for our MSD Alliances & Partners. You will also have strategic project responsibilities, where senior leaders will come to you with a problem that needs solving. You will be asked to create the project plan, assemble the team & deliver the end result.

More details on your responsibilities which will include:

  • Becoming the primary point of contact for our partners; understanding their needs and creating connections within MSD to produce programs to satisfy the Partner or Alliance goals.

  • Build and leverage executive relationships at the Partner site as well as with the Broadcom field teams to understand the contractual terms of the partner agreement.

  • Develop new initiatives and programs that will benefit the Partner or Alliance by adding value with targeted training & education or skills building programs.

  • On an annual basis, develop goals for product & program adoptions for each Global Partner.

  • As requested, host discussion sessions with Partners to showcase MSD value and explain our new products & Beyond Code programs.

  • Host workshops with Partners, this includes agreeing on an agenda and expected outcomes with the functional area, developing an agenda and materials, facilitating the sessions, and creating read-out documents with next steps.

  • Conduct ad-hoc projects as business needs are identified – either by the strategy team or by senior leadership. Examples include analyses of our top 25% accounts, studies on the threat of migration off the mainframe, support for the marketing team’s account-based experience project, and analysis of financial performance for specific products / value streams / geographies.

  • As needed, prepare and deliver presentations to senior leadership within division and / or partners

Education, Skills & Competencies:

  • Leader with desire to assume responsibility and work autonomously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Curious, analytical, and comfortable working with large, complex data sets Practical with the ability to think logically to solve complex problems

  • Strong collaboration, persuasion and time management skills

  • Effective facilitation skills, including leading executive-level workshops and meetings

  • Bachelors plus 12+ years of related experience is required; MBA preferred

  • Mainframe knowledge and Service Provider background a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $106,900 - $171,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
