As a Compliance Risk Management Senior Officer within the Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization, you will need to possess both operational and strong regulatory knowledge and experience related to retail consumer banking and to strategically partner with the business to ensure that all of our practices, products and services are in compliance with both the letter and spirit of all laws and regulations. You will also be expected to partner with management, Legal, Risk, Controls and Audit teams to provide ongoing compliance advice on regulatory matters and compliance risk. Additionally, you will be expected to engage in the front-end on the development and implementation of new policies, procedures, issues/action plans and training to ensure inclusion of necessary state, federal and regulatory compliance requirements as well as providing day to day support and oversight to the line of business. You will need to identify, measure, and manage controls and compliance-related risks while monitoring and testing the adequacy of controls.
Job Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance support to the Consumer Bank Product and Marketing teams;
  • Partner with the assigned line of business, Risk, Audit, Legal and Control partners to evaluate and confirm that sound compliance programs are in place;
  • Participate in testing planning discussions;

  • Analyze regulatory initiatives affecting the business and provide regulatory advice and communicate policy to consumer bank personnel and management;
  • Evaluate effectiveness of available metrics and enhance or design new metrics to identify trends and potential areas of concern and attend meetings with line of business management and representatives, as appropriate;
  • Engage in projects as required.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of bank regulatory compliance expertise.
  • Knowledge of consumer bank related regulations is imperative.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, prioritize workflow and meet deadlines.
