Primary responsibility to obtain and review insurance documentation in accordance with Bank policies and procedures, and to ensure lien perfection. Interfaces with insurance agents, line partners, and clients to ensure world-class documentation accuracy. Maintains primary responsibility for accuracy of insurance documentation and SOR tracking data, timely delivery of documents, and elimination of controllable re-work. Post funding analysis of insurance requirements, timely processing/resolution of insurance exceptions, and monitoring system of record for upcoming expirations of insurance policies, acting to extend or obtain renewals of the items prior to their expiration. Maintains ticklers on systems of record for these items. Acts to resolve exceptions related to insurance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate Insurance requirement and approval letters and send to client/agent/broker.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 yrs. of Commercial Insurance experience

  • Must know BOA platforms/systems (SharePoint, LoanIQ, CTS, Credit Center, CARMA, EDR, Genesis) with understanding of commercial property and casualty insurance requirements.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build partnerships across the organization to ensure efficiency and achieve customer satisfaction.

  • Effective prioritization of multiple tasks, balancing quality and productivity.

  • Proficient time management and attention to detail

  • Data collection and entry

This DBA position is to provide Database support for Citi’s Oracle and Postgres Databases with an emphasis on problem solving, troubleshooting Production issues, provide guidance to App teams on database performance tuning items and ensure database stability, availability and also provide support to upgrade, migrate and patch systems. This position requires to work in a fast-paced, large scale and very diverse 24x7 environment. DBA team member will work with multiple support teams located in NAM, EMEA, APAC regions working together adopting follow-the-sun support model. Additional responsibilities include managing and documenting projects and executing process and delivering improvements.Responsibilities:

  • Oracle database support for critical Oracle database systems.

  • Postgres database support for critical Postgres database systems.

  • Caching database support forRedis and/or Couchbase is a plus

  • Monitor and address database alerts/issues, capacity constraints, and performance related items.

  • Knowledge of Oracle DataGuard replication and physical standby for Disaster recovery.

  • Fully analyze performance issues, identify tuning opportunities and advise developers on SQL tuning options.

  • Interact and communicate with application developers and support teams to understand and articulate.

  • Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) post restoration of service

  • Design testing approaches, complex processes, reporting streams, and create automation of repetitive tasks

  • Be a part of DBRE’s (database reliability engineers) team to meet targets and SLA objectives.

  • Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements and examine and update processes and procedures as necessary


Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

  • Knowledge of UNIX scripting and automation experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of automation tools like ANSIBLE and automation scripting / fixing - Desirable

  • Knowledge of database installation / configuration best practices and Database upgrade/migration approaches.

  • Extensive experience with of Oracle Data Guard replication setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting

  • Experience with various Database high availability solutions and Oracle Golden Gate replication

  • Knowledge of database internals/views to help troubleshoot issues.

  • Skills to identify tuning opportunities, implement improvements and advise developers on SQL tuning options.

  • Working experience in other technologies like Mongo and Caching databases (Redis and Couchbase) is a plus

  • Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices

  • Ability to work with virtual / in-person teams, and work under pressure / to a deadline

  • Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

  • Bachelor’s/Universitydegree or equivalent work experience
