The Sr. Material Program Manager (MPM) is responsible for the management and delivery of the product financial health for innovated, highly integrated consumer products.You will support weekly executive product line reviews outlining performance against budget, target and actual costKey job responsibilitiesTrack the program actual costs versus target to identify program deltas and corrective actions to bring back on trackWork with the OEM to set your product purchase order cost for the upcoming period
Manage purchase price variance claims resulting from engineering changes, component obsolescence or forecast variance
Host weekly executive management cost reviews that deep dive through every aspect of your product BOM cost.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

- Loading and offloading semi-trucks and organizing inventory
- Maintain inventory integrity and repair history through diligent record keeping and adherence to process
- Collect product data, update and maintain electronic records
- Perform basic intake procedures on parts returned from the field
- Identify discrepant materials/components, both verbally and in writing to supervisor and engineers
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Suggest enhancements to process and department layout, and help implement once approved
- Sort variety of mixed scrap material by “like” material. (Need to understand metal identification)
- Monitor scrap material containers and replace as required
- Weigh scrap material, and properly complete all required documents (bill of lading, weigh tickets)
- Prepare and package scrap material for shipment
- Forklift experience highly preferred
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
- Associate or Technical degree preferred
- Proficient with hand tools and computer-based tools
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
- Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Proficient with computer tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be reliable, innovative, committed, a self-starter, and quality focused
- Ability to perform repetitious duties while standing for long periods
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
