Description:
Unity is seeking a data-driven professional who can bridge the gap between analytics and action. In this role, you’ll transform large and complex datasets into insights that guide monetization strategies, enable account teams, and support leadership decisions. You’ll work cross-functionally across teams, applying analytical expertise, industry knowledge, and technical skills to accelerate growth in the mobile gaming and ad-tech space.
What you'll be doing
  • Translate complex data (supply, demand, revenue) into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and enablement materials for account teams and leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align insights with company goals and support account strategies.
  • Build tools, training, and frameworks that empower teams to understand monetization levers and competitive dynamics better.
  • Manage multiple projects, data sources, and deliverables simultaneously while maintaining quality and timeliness.
  • Apply technical expertise (SQL, Excel, large-scale data sets) to uncover trends and optimize decision-making.
What we're looking for
  • Strong ability to distill and communicate insights from large, complex datasets.
  • Experience in mobile gaming and/or ad-tech to quickly understand monetization and market dynamics.
  • Solid technical foundation in SQL and Excel; comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in parallel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to connect data insights with business strategies.
You might also have
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) for building dashboards and visualizations.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in ad-tech, such as bidding algorithms or predictive modeling.
  • Background in sales strategy, revenue operations, or consulting, with a focus on turning data into go-to-market initiatives.

  • Develop a deep level of understanding of Mobile Publisher systems, Salesforce mobile app products, and Salesforce platform

  • Perform ongoing Publisher system operations including releases and administrative tasks

  • Perform system maintenance operations to ensure secure and reliable production pipelines

  • Collaborate with Support, Product, and Engineering groups to help resolve customer issues, assist customer onboarding success, and provide customer guidance

  • Help validate app submissions and assist to resolve issues

  • Ensure Service-Level Agreements (SLA) are monitored and met

  • Work with and file various record keeping (bugs reports, etc) with thoroughness and clarity

  • Monitor and report Mobile Publisher Service health

  • Assist with testing and issue resolution

  • Ability to multitask and mange multiple projects against deadlines

  • Assist with generating customer facing documentation

  • Provide product feedback on issues impacting operation, and work with Product Management to prioritize them.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 2 - 5 years of software development experience

  • Experience with Jenkins including general understanding familiarity managing and administering Jenkins, locating and reading Jenkins logs, etc.

  • Proficiency in using version control systems like Git is crucial for managing code repositories and collaborating with other team members.

  • Proficiency in basic programing in Python and shell scripting (Bash, PowerShell).

  • Candidate should possess knowledge of the process, tasks, and data needed to complete an app submission to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. (direct iOS and Android app development experience is not necessary)

  • An understanding in security best practices and tools for securing infrastructure and applications is crucial for protecting sensitive data and systems.

  • Knowledge of different testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end) and tools is important for ensuring the quality of delivery.

  • Candidate should be comfortable working on Apple Mac platform and macOS, including expertise with Terminal

  • Previous experience working on complex, multi-tiered systems.

  • Needs to be able to automate various tasks, including infrastructure provisioning, software deployment, and testing.

  • Follow instructions with close attention to detail and possesses initiative to determine and pursue the best course of action for circumstances.

  • Exceptional communicator both written and verbal.

  • Independent and open-minded individual who values and appreciates diversity, input, and collaboration

  • Previous experience in working with distributed teams

  • Capable of working successfully independently but able to collaborate and thrive in a team environment.

  • Close attention to detail and process.

  • A related technical degree required.

Role Description:
To be successful in this role, you need excellent communication, as well as product and program management skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that Salesforce meets the needs of our customers. You will work with internal and external customer requirements as well as different business functions including product ownership experience, driving project features via Scrum/Agile, cross team collaboration, and release management. This role will require you to not only drive the roadmap for your team but also develop the long term strategy of our mobile platform offerings.In addition, you will be expected to be the biggest advocate of your product to customers through customer feedback sessions, Salesforce events & blogs and even podcasts. You will serve as the loudspeaker of the innovative work your engineering and design team will be doing. You will need to be skilled at presenting your product features with a focus on the business solution with clear communication.
Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute the short term (3-6 months) roadmap of Mobile Publisher product/service day-to-day with developers, tech writing and design.

  • Strategize the medium to long term priorities of this team (1-3 years) in order to make our customers/partners successful.

  • Gather feedback from internal/external partners & external customers on how the roadmap can be iterated over time to meet their needs.

  • Market & evangelize current features & roadmap across multiple mediums (blogs, podcasts, live streams).

  • Serve as the main point person for feedback, questions, comments regarding your highly technical product to partners, customers, sales people, customer success people and others.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines or equivalent experience in technical leadership roles. MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in engineering or product management delivering highly technical products (preferably platform products/services).

  • Motivated by solving complex problems and bringing order & structure to ambiguity.

  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-organization teams to execute important company priorities.

  • Desire to market platform services/products through blogs, events, podcasts and other mediums.

  • Ability to communicate to various stakeholders ranging from tactical technical detail to high level strategy.

  • Experience presenting to executive leadership, participating in the sales cycle, and handling sensitive customer escalations.
