Your key responsibilities

• Apply complex transfer pricing concepts and business, economic, and financial knowledge to help resolve client challenges. Support Partners on high-level engagements, including transfer pricing planning, operational transfer pricing, compliance requirements and all forms of tax authority engagement (including reviews, audits, and Advance Pricing Arrangements).
• Manage engagements and maintain day-to-day client relationships, including participating in meetings with clients and tax authorities. Review transfer pricing analyses, documentation, and models prepared by team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Mentor, train, and support the development of team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages growth and knowledge sharing.

• Possess at least 5+ years of Transfer Pricing experience within a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting, or legal environment. Demonstrate good drafting skills, the ability to apply facts to Transfer Pricing legislation, and advise clients on the implications.
• Have experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide succinct and well-informed recommendations. Exhibit strong teaming and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
• Show strong commercial acumen, staying abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental, and political factors that influence transfer pricing. Exceptional client service orientation and a collaborative approach to teaming are essential.
• Hold a Bachelors degree or higher qualification. Financial modelling, Excel skills, AI skills, and Bloomberg skills are beneficial. And skills in the use of emerging technologies and approach to data would be a distinctive advantage.

As a Tax Senior Manager, you'll see this first hand by being immersed in the evolving tax environment through preparing and auditing income tax provisions, assisting with income tax filings, consulting on planning opportunities, and coaching and developing staff on your engagement teams.

Your key responsibilities

You'll spend your time supporting client engagements by serving as a key point of contact, reviewing client deliverables, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines, managing engagement economics, and developing internal team members. You'll continuously build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations. Identifying and resolving tax technical issues and sharing insights to improve our efficiency will be a key component. You'll also be responsible for identifying additional services to provide to our clients.

To qualify for the role you must have

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Tax or Law and approximately eight years of related work experience
• CPA certification or licensed attorney status
• A background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax and a broad understanding of US income taxation
• Experience managing budgets and projects
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and data mining tools
• The ability to prioritize when working on multiple projects, and the confidence to engage and integrate directly into our clients' teams
• Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment

As a Transaction Tax senior, you'll be right at the heart of the action. You'll work with many of the world's largest organizations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the most complex deals. You'll be advising clients throughout the transaction lifecycle on key drivers to increase value and reduce the risks and uncertainty inherent in transactions.
Our Transactions practice is constantly evolving, and it's here you'll find everything you need to grow as we do. It's all about taking on new skills and responsibilities as they arise, and making the most of our dedicated mentors and training programs. Our Transaction Tax practice helps our clients plan, execute and integrate their transaction strategies. Our services include deal structuring, due diligence, post-deal integration, internal restructuring, distressed debt and bankruptcy, tax attribute management and planning, and drafting opinions and IRS ruling requests.
As a Senior you will be a member of the team developing and implementing transactions. You'll spend your time on a diverse array of project and clients in a highly collaborative culture. We'll look to you to develop relationships with our clients and team effectively with internal resources while developing and coaching junior members of the team.
• Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, participating in due diligence and structuring engagements related to transactions for private equity and strategic corporate clients
• Perform due diligence projects to provide a thorough review of tax returns, legal documents and financial statements needed to evaluate and calculate potential tax exposures
• Review, assess, and advise clients regarding tax computations reflected in their financial models; and assist clients in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the tax data in their financial projections for the transaction

• US CPA or member of US State bar
• A bachelor's degree and around 3 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and 2 years of related work experience
• Tax due diligence, deal structuring, and post-acquisition planning experience
• Experience managing budgets, projects and people

• Strong writing, research, analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in fast paced professional services environment
• Willingness and ability to travel, when necessary
