This role will be responsible for the operations of the cryogenic systems, which includes reconfiguration, documentation, and quantum processor integration. In addition to DR operations, the scope of the role also includes assembly, integration, and testing of novel cryogenic RF/Microwave hardware.A day in the life
You will work within the Cryogenic Hardware team and alongside the Test and Measurement team to reconfigure, assemble, test, and operate cryogenic systems weekly. - Associates degree in a technical or mechanical engineering discipline
- 4+ years of hands on experience in precision mechanical assembly and/or maintenance of complex scientific instrumentation
- Curiosity/capability to rapidly research and learn new techniques or technical topics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Experience with precision electro-mechanical assembly (e.g. parts cleaning, mechanical tolerances, torqueing requirements, cable management)

- 5+ years of working hands-on in equipment engineering or equivalent experience
