  • Manage daily operations of material flow to the line, and finished goods outbound to the customers
  • Govern, and ensure core KPI targets are met in safety, quality, productivity, cost and delivery
  • Ensure on-time delivery of parts and material to the manufacturing lines and outbound shipments to customers
  • Manage warehouse inventory and material flow processes to optimal levels and drive continuous improvement in inventory accuracy
  • Lead efforts to optimize space and manpower, while ensuring downstream customer satisfaction
  • Assertively solve daily problems by applying Tesla problem-solving methodology to identify root causes, drive countermeasures and prevent repeat issues
  • Develop strategic partnerships with production and functional leadership to influence positive change across the Megafactory site
  • Lead and develop a technical team, including engineers and technicians, for the purposes of maintaining fixed/mobile conveyance, rack/returnable fleets, local PIT and semi truck production control equipment
  • Lead continuous improvement activities, including rapid improvement events, to drive continuous improvements
  • Conduct daily safety, and process audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance to standard work
What You’ll Bring
  • 7+ years in a material handling, production control and/or warehouse distribution in a leadership role
  • Minimum requirement of 2 years as a PC Manager in a high volume, automated manufacturing facility or high scale, automated logistics operation
  • Experience in warehouse management, inventory management, internal conveyance, and yard flow
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Production, Finance, Global Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment by establishing and enforcing operational standards and procedures
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and mentor people to achieve great things

The Construction Project Manager will work closely with members of the Project Management, Infrastructure Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Project Controls and Procurement departments from install through start of production.   • Exposure to a wide variety of production machinery, industrial sensors, and equipment (furnaces, high pressure die cast machines, trim presses, laser trim, plasma trim, CMT welding, DC nutrunner torque controllers, current and power meters, vision inspection systems, CNCs, etc.)
  • Excellent robotic high level and background programming skills on Fanuc, KUKA, ABB or equivalent brands, hands-on experience commissioning and programming industrial robots, mechanical/electrical trouble shooting skills and experience with robot simulation packages as well as off-line programing using RoboGuide
  • Proven leadership and project management experience transitioning products and processes from prototype to production desired, solid communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as independently
