Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client-side Project Management, R&D, and QA teams to gather project requirements and information for creating project plans
• Conduct pre and post launch device failure analysis, lead root cause discoveries, and generate issue resolutions
• Serve as a two-way communication bridge between customers and internal teams to verify wide scope quality issues, causes, and solutions across device hardware, software, components, processes, ETC.
• Investigate and capture various system logs and assist in R&D debugging of both SW and HW
• Serve as technical expert and point of contact to client, R&D, 3rd party lab representatives, contractors, and teammates
• Understand various testing methods to conduct tests and support to select and manage tests for changed/new items
• Support testing planning for each stage, testing result identification and field test based on a verification plan

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Electrical Engineering or equivalent level of work experience
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in wireless industry preferred in Mobile QA or Mobile testing
• Korean (business proficiency) and English (business proficiency)speaking/reading/writingability is required
• Able to utilize AI-based tool or models to enhance QA efficiency

• Proven experience with field data analysis and return/defect data tracking

• Must be a team player.
• Detail oriented - taking data, using Excel, and making meaningfultables/graphs/averages.
• Comfort and ability to use all types of electronic lab test equipment isplus

• Conducting User Research: Gathering insights from users through interviews, surveys, and observations to understand their needs and pain points when using our products.
• Reporting and Escalation: Identify potential risks and issues during development and promptly report them to the appropriate teams for resolution.
• Pre-Launched Model: Construct initial versions of the product to simulate its functionality and assess its feasibility before full-scale production begins.
• Testing and Iteration: Conducting usability tests with actual users to identify any issues or areas for improvement within the designed interface.
• Implementing Improvements: Work closely with developers to implement changes based on user feedback and ensure seamless integration of the updated UI/UX into the final product.

Minimum Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Human-computer interaction, Psychology, Mathematics, Design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in UX research, preferably in the mobile industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Project management experience
• Proficiency in UX research tools and methods, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers.
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and design thinking methodologies.
• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace applications.
• Expertise designing and executing user studies, including setting up experiments, collecting data, and analyzing results.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis.
• Understanding of human-computer interaction principles and theories.
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing project timelines.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and research findings to non-technical audiences.
• Continuous curiosity and willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in UX research.
• Passion for improving user experiences and positively impacting people's lives through technology.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Preferred in Korean bilingual, both spoken and written.
