As Senior Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership and direction for software development and IT operations personnel. You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members, developing sound process improvements, and problem-solving within the organization. You will prioritize and oversee software development projects, support service delivery, and manage IT operations. You will be responsible for developing annual software development budgets and ensuring that software projects and IT operations comply with industry standards and best practices. You will make sure IT projects are completed on-time and within budget. You will create and manage strategic initiatives that yield improvements in software development, operations, and cost control. You must have a degree in Technology or Information Systems or related software/IT field. A minimum of 7 - 10 years of IT industry experience is required, including experience in leading teams towards successful outcomes; practical knowledge of software development tecniques and techniques; working knowledge of project management and software planning activities; and an understanding of software components, database design, and backup/recovery strategies. A successful Senior Manager must also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, have excellent problem-solving abilities, and be able to work well in a collaborative environment.
