What you’ll do

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports for European and American entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS/US GAAP/local GAAP requirements.
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Provide accurate and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including intercompany balances and foreign currency transactions.
  • Support statutory reporting, external audits, and tax filings, liaising with auditors and tax advisors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, GST, corporate tax, and transfer pricing requirements.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, financial policies, and processes to support compliance and efficiency.
  • Identify and support opportunities for system improvements and automation initiatives within finance to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required by management.

What you’ll need

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 3-5+ years of experience in a financial accounting role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience working in an international, multi-entity environment, preferably within Europe & The Americas.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and strong Excel skills.
  • Previous experience working with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Proven experience of month end close processes including account reconciliations and posting of journals, preparation of working papers to support balances
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within tight deadlines and to self-manage your workload in a hybrid home/office environment and culture.
  • Good understanding of accrual accounting and general accounting principles

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, conduct, and deliver results regarding investigations of theft, fraud, and process gaps throughout the business
  • Prepare thorough reports regarding your findings related to theft, fraud, and process gaps. Provide policy guidance, education, and mitigation strategies to help meet business demands
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for business partners keeping them informed of key issues, strategies, and the department’s performance
  • Analyze data, conducts audits, and identify trends to create actionable plans to mitigate risk
  • Accurately communicate verbally and in written form to the various business groups. Train and orient new employees regarding Loss Prevention best practices
  • Develop projects while continuously improving inventory practices, processes, standards, and policies for future growth
  • Ensure internal controls per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements inventory control and record keeping. Leverage both internal and external resources in the performance of investigations as required
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experince and professional certifications such as PCI and Certified Fraud Examiner are preferred
  • Solid experience in security service, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, or other related fields in a fast-paced, multi-tasking corporate environment. A strong working knowledge of investigations best practice
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to interact with persons at all levels
  • Proven ability to be agile and work effectively in a dynamic environment. Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to emerging incidents and situations
  • Excellent coordination, project management, and organization skills ·and comfortable with a multi-tasking in a high-energy environment. Should be creative and analytical problem solver with a passion to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong familiarity with data bases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, Access, Exception-Based Reporting
