About the role

As a Product & Data Analyst at Orca, you will take ownership of product analytics at Orca, along with responsibility over our BI infrastructure. You will help product teams make smarter decisions by uncovering customer insights, while also ensuring the data pipelines and models that power those insights are robust and scalable.

In this role, you will work directly with Product Managers to analyze customer behavior, evaluate new features, and measure product impact. You’ll also take responsibility for the underlying data stack-writing SQL, modeling in DBT, and maintaining clean, efficient ETLs. Beyond supporting day-to-day product questions, you will build dashboards and reporting tools that give teams across the company access to reliable, self-serve insights.

About you
  • 3-5 Years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably from a SaaS company
  • Proven experience in SQL writing, specifically in querying large and complex data sets
  • Experience in BI tools and in DBT/Python
  • Looker proficiency – an advantage
  • Ability to translate analytic conclusions to business insights and actions along with strong statistical analysis skills and self-learning capabilities
  • B.Sc./BA in industrial/information systems engineering, statistics or equivalent
  • Experience in operational or cross-department roles – an advantage
  • Great communication skills
  • Business orientation and a passion for data analytics
  • High level of spoken and written English

About the role:

Our sensor delivers deep runtime visibility across cloud environments, spanning processes, syscalls, network activity, operating systems, and containerized workloads. As a Detection Analyst, you will examine this data at scale, refine detections, surface suspicious behaviors, and collaborate with the research team to continuously improve our security outcomes.

On a typical day you’ll:
  • Examine runtime events and security findings collected by the Orca Sensor to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.
  • Tune detection logic to reduce false positives and improve accuracy.
  • Investigate alerts from real customer environments and propose improvements.
  • Work closely with the research team to refine existing detections and provide insight for new ones.
  • Partner closely with field teams and product managers – managing requests, sharing findings, and keeping everyone aligned.
  • Produce short internal or external updates on relevant security trends or incidents.
  • Use Elasticsearch to explore detection data and visualize trends.
  • Contribute to detection automation and validation workflows (Python/Bash/Go/GitHub Actions).
About you:
  • BSc with expertise in cybersecurity, or equivalent cybersecurity/detection experience
  • Solid understanding of OS internals (Linux/Windows), process and network behavior
  • Proven ability to conduct deep investigations, document findings, and propose solutions
  • Comfortable with some of the programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Fast learner, self-starter, team player with a “can-do” attitude.
  • Excellent spoken and written English
Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with security tools for runtime visibility or detection
  • Prior exposure to threat detection or security operations
  • Experience with Cloud-Native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes
  • Basic static malware analysis knowledge
  • Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks (e.g. MCP, AI-driven automations)

About the Role:

System Design & Process Optimization:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
  • Design, recommend, and implement scalable, best-practice Salesforce solutions to streamline business processes.
  • Serve as the platform expert, advising on how to best leverage Salesforce capabilities for maximum efficiency.

Configuration, Automation, and Customization:

  • Design and implement advanced automation solutions.
  • Develop custom objects, fields, formula fields, page layouts, record types, and validation rules.
  • Manage sandbox environments, data deployments, and the release management process.
  • Perform all standard administrative tasks including managing user roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings.

Integration and Data Management:

  • Design, configure, and maintain robust integrations between Salesforce and external business applications such as Slack, Outreach, and Hubspot .
  • Develop and manage complex data integrations using dedicated iPaaS tools, with specific experience in Workato .
  • Work with APIs and integration tools to ensure reliable and secure data flow between systems.

Quality Assurance (QA) and Support:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans for all new features, configurations, and integrations to ensure system stability.
  • Provide advanced-level support and troubleshooting for complex technical issues, serving as a primary escalation point.
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation, including design specifications and process maps.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Systems Administrator, managing an enterprise-level Salesforce instance.
  • Automation Expertise: Expert proficiency in building complex automation using Salesforce Flow .
  • Integration Tool Experience: Proven, hands-on experience with the Workato integration platform, or similar iPaaS tools, to connect Salesforce with other applications.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring the Salesforce platform, including declarative tools and the data model.
  • Custom Code: Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and LWC sufficient for troubleshooting, performing minor modifications, and collaborating effectively with developers.
  • Application Integration: Demonstrated success in integrating Salesforce with sales, marketing, and communication platforms like Outreach, Hubspot, and Slack .
  • Data Management: Strong understanding of data security, data modeling, and governance.
