The Compliance Manager, based in Israel, is a multifaceted and essential role, involving a blend of technical and managerial knowledge and skills. As a key member of the compliance team, the Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable local, national and international regulations, laws, and policies.
The Compliance Manager will handle a variety of tasks and play a key role in helping the company achieve its regulatory and compliance objectives. This includes developing strategic plans and coordinating the organization's regulatory compliance objectives, analyzing and monitoring ongoing compliance activities, conducting internal audits and making recommendations for changes, and providing regular and timely management reports.
The Compliance Manager will also participate in the development and implementation of compliance policies and initiatives, evaluating management's compliance with applicable laws and regulations and identifying areas of opportunity and risk, and providing guidance and . training to management and operations teams. The role demands strong communication and inter-personal skills, the ability to work cross functionally, the ability to stay organized and to meet deadlines, and the ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations.
The Compliance Manager will also be responsible for staying up to date with changes in regulations and technology that relate to their role, and to accurately and efficiently respond to queries and questions from the customer service team, as well as any other internal stakeholders.
A background in compliance and/or legal in a technology industry setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of current regulations concerning information assurance, privacy, and cybersecurity is also an advantage.
