Experience performing incident response activities.
1+ year building/operating on the AWS platform
3+ years in technical IT security or related job role
2+ years of threat detection or incident response experience
Hands-on technical experience in incident response technology, security, automation, implementation, integration, and/or deployment.
This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state

* Hands-on technical experience in building scripts, tools, or methodologies that enhance customers’ threat detection and incident response capabilities.
* Strong scripting skills in modern scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, Node.js, Javascript, Bash, Ruby, or SQL.
* Experience communicating complex technical matters clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
* Experience managing customers during a security event, including managing customer expectations and delivering results.
* Knowledge of incident response workflows and processes

This position specifically is part of the WWSO Startup team, where you will be a Specialist Solution Architect that helps Startups adopt AWS’ technologies with a focus on GenAI, among other AI / ML workloads. You will 1/Be the best storytellers and technologists, 2/Work with the most promising Startups, 3/Scale tech knowledge via products, programs, and the AWS Field, and 4/Gather critical Startup feedback to inform our product roadmaps.Key job responsibilities
* Interact with startups at the CxO/VP level, as well as with developers and technical architects, to ease adoption, develop pipeline, secure lighthouse customers, drive top-line revenue, and explore strategic partnerships.
* Become a trusted advisor within startup founders through Technical Thought Leadership and demonstrate AWS values.
* Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field Solution Architect teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.* Deliver technical speaking sessions and guided workshops to tech leaders and developers.
* Help to influence product roadmap by communicating the voice of startups internally.
* Guide and Support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your domains. Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.

- 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years management of technical, customer facing resources
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, model development, common frameworks, workflow tools, and applied AI

You will likewise work to harness expansive data sets and generate actionable and unique insights from them using database querying and statistical analysis. Your efforts will uncover previously-unknown threats and help drive innovation and continual improvement in the "state-of-the-art" of cyber threat intelligence analysis and dissemination at Amazon.Eligibility requirement

On-Call Responsibility
This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two months. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don’t get paged for the same issue twice.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Extensive experience tracking sophisticated cyber threat groups (5+ years)
- Proven expertise in system, network, and application security (5+ years)
- Proficiency in Python scripting and database query languages (2+ years)
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.

- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and or OS X internals
- Experience with malware analysis, network flow analysis, and large scale data analysis.
- Experience with modern threat intelligence platforms (TIPs), especially the Vertex Project's Synapse, and their APIs
- Experience building and conducting analysis leveraging AWS services. Experience building automated tools in the Python programming language.
