As a Sales Engineer in Canada, you are a technical sales specialist who bridges the gap between engineering and sales. You identify customer needs, develop and configure solutions that meet those needs, and lead demos and sales presentations. You are also responsible for providing technical support for customers post-sale. A successful Sales Engineer should have an in-depth understanding of engineering concepts and be able to articulate them clearly and concisely. This includes knowing the features and benefits of different technology solutions and their applicability to customer needs. You should also have experience in systems design, including software, hardware, and networks.
