  • Perform visual inspections on parts for quality assurance

  • Use and interpret designated measuring systems to inspect parts according to process sheet requirements

  • Recognize, identify and report burrs, chips, cracks, consistent defects or process changes

  • Read and interpret process sheets

  • Understand and follow procedures for traceability tags

  • Identify and report safety hazards (i.e. natural gas smell, oil/water spills)

  • Achieve required production numbers

  • Maintain 5S within designated work area and/or cell

  • Ensure that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health & Safety Systems are met.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset, but not required

Qualifications:

  • Able to use and accurately interpret designated measuring systems for parts inspection, according to process sheet requirements.

  • Able to demonstrate thorough understanding of process sheets and is able to follow consistently.

  • Understand and follow traceability procedures. Familiar with specific products and their process requirements.

  • Demonstrate acceptable level of safety, attendance, quality and production

  • Basic mathematical skills required with particular emphasis on accuracy

  • Able to work well independently or in a team environment

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment while maintaining quality

Language Skills:

How you’ll spend your day
  • Manufacture products by operating equipment according to the Master Batch Record (MBR)
  • Complete GMP documentation (MBRs, labels, logbooks, validation records) with accuracy and integrity
  • Independently run at least two process types and perform all required in-process checks (IPCs)
  • Conduct ERP data entry and verification checks
  • Perform intermediate troubleshooting and optimize equipment settings
  • Fully disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment and rooms per controlled procedures
  • Notify supervisors of any processing issues, safety incidents, or product quality concerns
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and GMP areas in proper condition
  • Retrieve, move, and store materials as needed
  • Participate in the Train-the-Trainer program and coach other operators
  • Support OPEX initiatives (Kaizen, SMED, OEE, 5S)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Your experience and qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment (pharmaceutical preferred)
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude with high-speed machinery
  • Basic knowledge of Windows applications, SAP, and MSCA

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience required, preferably in the psychiatry or long-acting injectable schizophrenia space
  • Experience in the hospital setting or long-term care setting with a detailed understanding of the buy-and-bill model, formulary placement, P&T committees, and in-services required
  • Experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas strongly preferred
  • Specific experience with long-acting injectables and in-office administration for the treatment of schizophrenia in the hospital setting or long-term care setting preferred
  • Experience successfully launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple settings of care
  • Ability to operate within complex settings and networks and provide customer insights effectively

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology
  • Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull-through strategies as well as experience in all pertinent settings of business (CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice)
  • Understanding of the buy-and-bill model
  • Leadership skills and ability to collaborate with multiple sales teams
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
  • Candidate must be able to successfully pass background, motor, and drug screening
