A Manufacturing Engineer plays a vital role in the Canadian tech industry, giving direct support to those who design and construct products. The Manufacturing Engineer takes a leadership role in problem-solving, creating and developing tools, processes, methods and systems to improve the production performance of specified products. They will oversee the assembly of parts and systems, run tests on products and components, and monitor post-execution operations. The Manufacturing Engineer should have knowledge of economical resource management, cost benefit analysis, manufacturing process capabilities and cost estimation.
