As a Contract Manager in Canada, you will be a vital component to the success of any organization. Your expertise and understanding of contract laws, procedures and regulations will be used to ensure all parties involved are in agreement and fully within the legal framework of the contract governing the organization.
You will be responsible for negotiating, drawing up and reviewing contracts to protect the company while maintaining excellent relationships with the parties involved. Your duties may include creating internal and external documents and managing the selection, negotiation and completion of contracts. You will also provide advice concerning contractual issues and ensure that the organization complies with all contract laws, procedures and regulations.
The ability to understand business and legal perspectives and recognize emerging trends in the contract management industry will be essential for success in this role. Great analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex contract disputes are also crucial. You must be well organized and meticulous in your approach to managing contract portfolios to ensure the organization is legally protected.
