The call center role is a vital one for growing businesses in Canada, as it is an essential part of providing customer service. At Expoint, those who fill this role will be responsible for taking incoming calls and chat inquiries, and appropriately directing them to the right department for resolution. This is a fast-paced role where the right candidate must possess strong customer service and communication skills, a positive attitude, and be able to work in a stressful environment.
Teamwork is a priority in the call center role at Expoint. Candidates must have the interpersonal capabilities to support other colleagues in resolving complex customer inquiries, as well as the ability to quickly learn and enforce policies and procedures while being efficient and organized. Those in this role will also need to be able to think on their feet, as they will need to redirect customers appropriately and find solutions to customer issues in a timely manner.
At Expoint, call center roles also require strong data entry abilities, as well as a specialized knowledge of the various customer service technology platforms used. Candidates must be able to add customers to the system, update customer information, enter customer orders, and be familiar with workflow software. Furthermore, during training, employees will become familiar with the process for resolving customer inquiries and will learn tips and tricks to deliver unrivaled customer service.
