Description:

We are looking for a Contract Security Program Administrator (internal rank of Associate) who provides the administrative support necessary to ensure EY’s ongoing compliance with requirements of ’s (PSPC) (CSP). You will be a primary point of contact with the Government of Canada (GoC) representatives, report into the Associate Director, Risk Management with oversight from the Company Security Officer (CSO).

You will be responsible for preparing all Facility Security Clearance (FSC), Document Safeguarding Capability (DSC) applications and IT Security Check Lists, resolving any corrective measures stemming from these submissions, and maintaining the corresponding trackers, documentation, and digital filing. You will also administrate the Request for Proposal (RFP) and contract security terms review process and work alongside the Government Security Clearance Administrator to provide secondary processing and administration of routine personnel security clearances.

Your key responsibilities

  • Perform duties and obligations of an ACSO with a focus on ensuring compliance with PSPC and the CSP.
  • Administrate the CSP for all EY sites including the preparation and facilitation of all FSC and DSC applications, IT Security Check Lists, physical/virtual PSPC inspections (e.g. security and IT), security assessments of cloud-based applications, and resolution of any corrective measures arising from inspections.
  • Act as the designated contact and primary liaison to security officers of the CSP.
  • Administrate the RFP and contract security terms review process and support corresponding EY teams with advice and guidance related to compliance with CSP requirements.
  • Perform a specific review of RFPs and contracts to identify all security terms/requirements relevant to the CSP.
  • Engage in additional projects and initiatives relevant to EY’s compliance with GoC regulations as designated by the CSO and Risk Management.
  • Foster collaboration and coordination with other EY stakeholder groups (e.g. Facilities, Security, Information Technology, and engagement teams) in the pursuit of compliance with PSPC and the CSP.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and raise concerns to the ACSOs and the CSO.
  • Support the Government Security Clearance Administrator to administrate the Federal security clearance process, including the processing of personnel security clearances, monitoring progress of new, expiring and terminated clearances, maintaining the list of cleared personnel, delivering a security briefing to employees being granted security clearance, and arranging Resolution of Doubt interviews for employees.

  • Ability to work in hybrid set-up to support with the Facilities Security requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and experience obtaining information/data from others.
  • Strong understanding of ethics, privacy protections and information security best practices.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working autonomously, ensuring all deadlines are met with minimal supervision.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma, ideally in business or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Fluency in English, working knowledge of French is an asset.

Ideally, you may also have

  • Experience as an ACSO or in a relevant Government of Canada security role.
  • Some experience in the use of Online Industrial Security Services portal (OLISS).
  • Some knowledge the Government of Canada’s Policy on Government Security and the instruments used to ensure compliance with it, including Security Requirements Check List (SRCL) and Private Sector Organization Screening (PSOS).
