This position is an advisory and consulting manager role to design workforce business strategy and standards for Global Consulting stakeholders. The position will be a key delivery partner, focused on defining workforce business strategy, identifying opportunities and enabling leaders to take workforce-related business decisions through data, insights and analytics. Working closely with WFT COE members, Talent team and global consulting stakeholders, the role aligns on the scope of work, builds data requirements, translates business strategy into measurable outcomes through talent data, research, and analytics, and owns end-to-end delivery of providing actionable insights to enhance organizational effectiveness. The role has a strong understanding of capacity planning, development and implementation of workforce plans (long-term and short-term) and both leads and manages discussions with stakeholders and delivers end to end value including talent attraction, retention, workforce agility, cost optimization. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to align workforce insights with organizational goals and objectives.• Acts as a strategic thought partner to the WFT COE and Consulting Talent leader to shape workforce strategy across Global Consulting. Translates complex talent data into actionable insights that inform executive-level decisions and drive enterprise-wide outcomes.
• Builds and maintains strong partnerships with global Consulting Talent leaders and senior stakeholders across Talent Functions and Super Regions. Regularly engages to understand strategic objectives and challenges, translating them into targeted projects and deliverables that support informed decision-making.
• Collaborates with internal clients to deliver relevant data and insights, guiding them in leveraging analytics to achieve workforce goals. Serves as a trusted advisor, enabling positive action through evidence-based recommendations.
• Analyses workforce datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Applies predictive modelling, scenario planning, and AI-driven tools to forecast future workforce needs and inform strategic planning.
• Partners with cross-functional teams, centers of excellence, and communities of practice to ensure alignment, reinforce data governance, and promote consistency in workforce analytics practices.
• Prioritises requests for new or enhanced analytics solutions based on business needs. Oversees projects and ensures the availability of required skills and resources to deliver high-impact outputs.
• Leads and manages workforce-related projects, programs, and change initiatives. Designs and implements workforce planning solutions, conducts ongoing business research and analysis, and drives transformation aligned with organisational goals.
• Applies deep project management expertise to optimise delivery, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies in consultation with leadership.
• Ensures data integrity, consistency, and compliance with global reporting standards. Upholds best practices in data management and reporting across all workforce analytics initiatives.
• Builds and sustains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration, share insights, and enhance the impact of workforce strategies.
• Works with the WFT COE leader to conduct strategic business reviews with consulting leaders, presenting insights, progress, and recommendations that shape workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Curates and publishes newsletters that combine internal and external insights tailored to specific functions or service lines, promoting thought leadership and strategic awareness.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
• Engage with diverse business stakeholders to gather requirements, align on analytical objectives, and co-design insightful solutions that address strategic workforce priorities and operational challenges.
• Apply a deep understanding of talent strategy, organisational dynamics, and operational levers to contextualise data and ensure insights are relevant, timely, and aligned with business goals.
• Make informed decisions to define, deliver, and continuously improve workforce analytics processes and functional delivery standards. Prioritise initiatives based on business impact and stakeholder needs.
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations that drive workforce planning, talent management, and organisational effectiveness. Tailor insights to different stakeholder audiences to maximise impact.
• Integrate external market insights and benchmarking data into internal analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify competitive opportunities, and influence change across functions and geographies.
• Monitor and evaluate the integrity, consistency, and compliance of workforce data. Implement best practices in data management and reporting to ensure a trusted source of truth for decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in data collection, modelling, and insight generation. Introduce innovative analytical techniques and tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and business relevance.
• Assess the effectiveness of analytics initiatives by measuring their influence on decision-making and business outcomes. Use feedback loops and performance metrics to refine approaches and optimise delivery.
• Collaborate with centres of excellence, digital talent teams, and analytics communities to share learnings, harmonise methodologies, and promote consistent application of insights across the enterprise.• Deep understanding of talent strategy, organizational dynamics, and business operations. Ability to align workforce analytics with strategic priorities and translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
• Strong knowledge across core HR domains including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance & Reward, Mobility, and Workforce Planning. Familiarity with global consulting models and talent delivery frameworks.
• Proactive consulting mindset with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and co-create pragmatic, high-impact solutions.
• Expertise in data analytics tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, R, and Spark. Proficient in visualization platforms such as Power BI. Expert in data storytelling and generating insights for diverse audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of SuccessFactors’ configuration, reporting capabilities and integration with other platforms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver outcomes with agility. Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, MS Power Platform, and automation frameworks

Your key responsibilities

  • Assist in Australian Taxation Office (ATO) transfer pricing reviews and audits based on economic principles. Formulate, recommend, and implement global tax transfer pricing policies for multinational companies in the financial services sector. Assist in negotiating Advance Pricing Arrangements with the ATO and other tax authorities, and prepare Mutual Agreement Procedure applications.
  • Analyse the impact of international tax policies and prepare recommendations on their consequences from an Australian tax and transfer pricing perspective. Model financial outcomes of cross-border debt and global trading arrangements, return on assets, and profit splits.
  • Provide fully integrated approaches to transfer pricing by preparing documents, data files, and models to fulfil client compliance obligations. Project manage multiple engagements to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Possess at least 5 to 6 years of Transfer Pricing experience within a top-tier accounting firm, corporate, tax consulting, or legal environment. Demonstrate good drafting skills, the ability to apply facts to Transfer Pricing legislation, and advise clients on the implications.
  • Have experience in assimilating complex information and data sources to provide succinct and well-informed recommendations. Exhibit strong teaming and leadership skills with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
  • Show strong commercial acumen, staying abreast of wider legal, economic, environmental, and political factors that influence transfer pricing. Exceptional client service orientation and a collaborative approach to teaming are essential.
  • Hold an Economics degree, Accounting degree, Legal degree, Certified Practising Accountant, or Chartered Accountant qualification. Financial modelling, Excel skills, AI skills, and Bloomberg skills are beneficial. Financial services experience is preferred but not necessary.

This position is an advisory and consulting manager role to design workforce business strategy and standards for Global Consulting stakeholders. The position will be a key delivery partner, focused on defining workforce business strategy, identifying opportunities and enabling leaders to take workforce-related business decisions through data, insights and analytics. Working closely with WFT COE members, Talent team and global consulting stakeholders, the role aligns on the scope of work, builds data requirements, translates business strategy into measurable outcomes through talent data, research, and analytics, and owns end-to-end delivery of providing actionable insights to enhance organizational effectiveness. The role has a strong understanding of capacity planning, development and implementation of workforce plans (long-term and short-term) and both leads and manages discussions with stakeholders and delivers end to end value including talent attraction, retention, workforce agility, cost optimization. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to align workforce insights with organizational goals and objectives.• Acts as a strategic thought partner to the WFT COE and Consulting Talent leader to shape workforce strategy across Global Consulting. Translates complex talent data into actionable insights that inform executive-level decisions and drive enterprise-wide outcomes.
• Builds and maintains strong partnerships with global Consulting Talent leaders and senior stakeholders across Talent Functions and Super Regions. Regularly engages to understand strategic objectives and challenges, translating them into targeted projects and deliverables that support informed decision-making.
• Collaborates with internal clients to deliver relevant data and insights, guiding them in leveraging analytics to achieve workforce goals. Serves as a trusted advisor, enabling positive action through evidence-based recommendations.
• Analyses workforce datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Applies predictive modelling, scenario planning, and AI-driven tools to forecast future workforce needs and inform strategic planning.
• Partners with cross-functional teams, centers of excellence, and communities of practice to ensure alignment, reinforce data governance, and promote consistency in workforce analytics practices.
• Prioritises requests for new or enhanced analytics solutions based on business needs. Oversees projects and ensures the availability of required skills and resources to deliver high-impact outputs.
• Leads and manages workforce-related projects, programs, and change initiatives. Designs and implements workforce planning solutions, conducts ongoing business research and analysis, and drives transformation aligned with organisational goals.
• Applies deep project management expertise to optimise delivery, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies in consultation with leadership.
• Ensures data integrity, consistency, and compliance with global reporting standards. Upholds best practices in data management and reporting across all workforce analytics initiatives.
• Builds and sustains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration, share insights, and enhance the impact of workforce strategies.
• Works with the WFT COE leader to conduct strategic business reviews with consulting leaders, presenting insights, progress, and recommendations that shape workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Curates and publishes newsletters that combine internal and external insights tailored to specific functions or service lines, promoting thought leadership and strategic awareness.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
• Engage with diverse business stakeholders to gather requirements, align on analytical objectives, and co-design insightful solutions that address strategic workforce priorities and operational challenges.
• Apply a deep understanding of talent strategy, organisational dynamics, and operational levers to contextualise data and ensure insights are relevant, timely, and aligned with business goals.
• Make informed decisions to define, deliver, and continuously improve workforce analytics processes and functional delivery standards. Prioritise initiatives based on business impact and stakeholder needs.
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, actionable recommendations that drive workforce planning, talent management, and organisational effectiveness. Tailor insights to different stakeholder audiences to maximise impact.
• Integrate external market insights and benchmarking data into internal analytics to inform strategic decisions, identify competitive opportunities, and influence change across functions and geographies.
• Monitor and evaluate the integrity, consistency, and compliance of workforce data. Implement best practices in data management and reporting to ensure a trusted source of truth for decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in data collection, modelling, and insight generation. Introduce innovative analytical techniques and tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and business relevance.
• Assess the effectiveness of analytics initiatives by measuring their influence on decision-making and business outcomes. Use feedback loops and performance metrics to refine approaches and optimise delivery.
• Collaborate with centres of excellence, digital talent teams, and analytics communities to share learnings, harmonise methodologies, and promote consistent application of insights across the enterprise.• Deep understanding of talent strategy, organizational dynamics, and business operations. Ability to align workforce analytics with strategic priorities and translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
• Strong knowledge across core HR domains including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Performance & Reward, Mobility, and Workforce Planning. Familiarity with global consulting models and talent delivery frameworks.
• Proactive consulting mindset with the ability to interpret complex business requirements and co-create pragmatic, high-impact solutions.
• Expertise in data analytics tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, R, and Spark. Proficient in visualization platforms such as Power BI. Expert in data storytelling and generating insights for diverse audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of SuccessFactors’ configuration, reporting capabilities and integration with other platforms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives, manage timelines and budgets, and deliver outcomes with agility. Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, MS Power Platform, and automation frameworks
• Effective teaming skills to collaborate across talent ecosystems, digital teams, and business functions. Promotes knowledge sharing and alignment with centers of excellence and communities of practice.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities to influence senior leadership, drive change, and ensure adoption of workforce solutions. Skilled in navigating ambiguity and leading transformation in complex environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate insights influence decisions and contribute to strategic narratives. Experience in curating newsletters and thought leadership content tailored to business needs
• Proficiency in data management practices including governance, privacy, and security protocols. Experience with enterprise data platforms for secure and scalable analytics delivery
• High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, operate within defined budgets, and meet delivery timelines.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities to track emerging trends, benchmark practices, and identify future opportunities in workforce analytics and talent strategy.
Supervision Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Leads across the Talent Insights and Analytics team and wider Talent Functions to ensure the provision of services that support business and functional delivery.
• Independently maintain and leverage (when appropriate) an internal network, including effective partnerships with senior stakeholders, across EY practices / functions that will enable personal effectiveness in the position.• Due to global nature of the role; willingness to work alternative hours will be required

• Educated to degree level
• Data and Technology background preferred (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering)
• Higher professional or master’s qualification is preferred, not required

• Proven track record in data analytics, insights generation, and strategic workforce planning within complex, matrixed organisations. Experience in delivering functional reporting and analytics solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems using structured methodologies and data-driven approaches. Experience navigating ambiguity and delivering results in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Experience in building digital capability within teams, defining key competencies, and implementing learning programs to advance skills in analytics, visualization, and data storytelling
• Demonstrable experience in partnering with talent and business stakeholders to understand requirements and co-create digital solutions that address strategic workforce needs
• Experience working with third-party vendors and external system implementors to design, build, and enable reporting and analytics solutions. Proven ability to manage external relationships and ensure delivery excellence
• Experience leading and participating in globally dispersed teams to enhance services, processes, and standards. Skilled in managing cross-cultural collaboration and virtual delivery models
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate challenges, proactively mitigate risks, and lead change initiatives that align with organisational transformation goals
• Experience conducting internal and external research to identify best practices, benchmark performance, and provide insights that inform strategic decisions
• Proven experience in providing subject matter expertise and strategic advisory to senior leaders, contributing to successful change outcomes and workforce strategy execution
