Indirect Tax - Director - Stamp Duty

As our Director you’ll be working directly with clients to shape and enhance business strategies to help them solve tomorrow’s problems today.

Your key responsibilities

  • Responsible for building and managing client relationships, revenue generation and/or managing complex commercial relationships.
  • Provide leadership and direction to teams up to and including senior managers across multiple activities Leads and develop teams to bring the firm's Employee Value Proposition to life and lead teams with broad visibility to achieve performance objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes through the tax lifecyle and increase operational efficiency in meeting regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for tax optimization, credits and refund recovery, and exposure reduction.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Substantial Indirect Tax experience within a professional services accounting firm, law firm or from working with another large organisation.
  • Strong technical skills in the field of indirect tax, principally in Stamp Duty.
  • Ability to clearly demonstrate leadership skills in regard to market facing initiatives, client delivery and staff development
