Your Experience

• 5+ years of proven hands-on experience in software development
• 1+ years of proven hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with Cloud environments and best practices.
• Prove experience in a management role - can be scrum master, tech lead or similar
• Good communication and visionary skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent military experience required

Your Experience

• 5+ years of field sales experience focusing on key customer accounts and delivering value to Enterprise or Major-level accounts in the cybersecurity industry.

• Extensive platform selling experience in complex sales with multiple buying centers.

• Experience selling SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOC and SOAR solutions is highly preferred.

• Established trusted relationships with CIOs and CISOs with the ability to influence and drive strategic conversations

• Expertise in applying complex solution sales methodologies to drive results.

• Experience working with channel partners and a deep understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market strategy.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment while collaborating effectively with sales engineers and cross-functional teams.

• Experience operating in a continuous adoption, expansion, and upsell sales motion within a matrixed sales organization is preferred

• Willingness to travel domestically as necessary to meet business needs.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between. We are looking for an experienced backend engineer, who will join a team that will invent, design, engineer, and build a new set of capabilities focused on Data Analytics and Threat Detection within the top-notch Cortex platform. You will have a truly unique opportunity to influence the development of our product. You will work closely with Product Management and R&D leaders, help define the requirements, and conduct a substantial part of the technical research.

As a Senior Backend Engineer - you will build and design distributed backend services that are the backbone of our platform. You will need to think wide about all system components and will need to consider the trade-offs with every design decision you make.

You will work with the latest technologies and development methodologies to achieve the best outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to join very early and take charge of new product architecture and build it from scratch.

Your Impact

• Responsible for complete software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, deployment and support
• Design, implement and test critical components in the product, take into account complex considerations of multiple platforms, performance, supportability, maintainability and much more
• Write clean, testable, readable, scalable and maintainable code that scales and performs well for thousands of customers
• Develop solid understanding and be able to explain advanced Cloud Computing and Security concepts to others

Your Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in building complex, high scale SaaS solutions - Preferably experienced in Golang
• Passion for software engineering and coding - Energetic and eager to create and outperform
• Experience in developing cloud distributed applications and cloud infrastructures
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Proven record designing and implementing scalable REST APIs, services and data pipelines
• Hands-on experience using SQL/NoSQL based databases
• Understanding of microservices-based deployments with the ability to introduce monitoring/tracing of application logs (e.g. Splunk) from inception
• Familiarity with one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes and their technologies (Lambda functions, SNS/SQS etc.)
• Experience with Kubernetes/Docker - advantage
