  • Lead, mentor, and grow multiple engineering teams and managers within the DSPM domain.
  • Own the full SDLC - from translating product strategy into actionable roadmaps to ensuring flawless execution and on-time delivery.
  • Engage directly with strategic customers to lead technical deep-dives, architecture reviews, and roadmap discussions.
  • Set high engineering standards for quality and security while building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the architecture of scalable, distributed systems (primarily Python & Go) capable of processing data at petabyte scale.
  • Guide teams on building high-throughput pipelines and cloud-native microservices.
  • Ensure efficient deployment, observability, and runtime stability in production environments.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and cross-functional groups (Infra, Research, UX) to define priorities and build multi-quarter roadmaps.
  • Align stakeholders across business units and communicate tradeoffs, risks, and execution plans with clarity.

Your Experience

  • 3+ years managing software engineering teams, including managing managers.
  • 5+ years of experience as a hands-on software engineer.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, distributed cloud products end-to-end.
  • Strong systems-level background in one or more languages: Go, Python.
  • Experience with large-scale cloud architectures (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deliver roadmaps with high predictability.
  • Strong collaboration skills; able to align cross-disciplinary teams around a shared goal.

Advantages

  • Experience with orchestration frameworks (Temporal, Argo Workflows, etc.).
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of complex solution sales methodologies, value selling and enterprise buying processes with operational discipline

  • Experience selling SASE, SWG, SSE, EDR or CASB solutions is highly preferred.

  • Established relationships with F500 security decision-makers (CIOs, CISOs) and the ability to drive strategic conversations.

  • Expertise in channel and partner sales strategies, with a deep understanding of go-to-market models.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed sales organization with a focus on continuous expansion and customer success

  • “Whatever it takes” attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance

  • Desire and ability to travel domestically as needed to support team members, engage strategic customers and business needs.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $414000 - $482925.   • Build and lead a team of automation and QA engineers as an organic automation team within a development group.

  • Responsible for the quality of Palo Alto Networks products and specifically the Data Security group.

  • Be a technical lead, including responsibility for code reviews, recruiting, personal development, training and mentoring the automation engineers.

  • Partner with software development managers, functional, system & performance QA leaders to devise test automation strategies to drive the automation and to come up with extensive automation coverage of testing.

  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure test framework and methodologies are integrated with the continuous integration.

  • Implement infrastructure & automatic tests (be hands-on to some extent).

Your Experience

  • Proven 4+ years of experience as an Automation or Infrastructure Manager for a SaaS Product.

  • Proven Experience with Python or OOP Languages.

  • Proven hands-on experience using tools such as git, Jira, Jenkins.

  • Experience working with OS Linux environment

  • Experience in Docker for creating and managing test environments and integrating with CI/CD pipelines - advantage

  • Experience and knowledge with testing processes and methodologies. Must

  • Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills.

  • Academic degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Advantage
