What You'll Be Doing

• Experimental Root Cause Analysis: Design and build targeted experiments from the ground up to replicate complex hardware behaviors observed in AI data centers. You will then analyze the results to hunt down the root cause of these behaviors, whether in silicon, firmware, or software.

• Hands-On Lab Investigation: Spend your time in the lab, working directly with the most advanced networking ASICs and systems to profile performance and characterize behavior under stress.

• Test Automation and Development: Write and debug advanced automation scripts (Python) to programmatically control traffic generators (e.g., IXIA) and manipulate the test environment to expose corner-case issues.

• Lab Environment Management: Maintain and support our lab environment, including equipment setup and racking, procurement, inventory, and coordinating maintenance and upgrades to support ongoing investigations .

What We Need to See

• B.S.c in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience with a strong foundation in hardware-software interaction

• 5+ years of deep hands-on lab experience focused on hardware validation, testing, and performance-tuning.

• Strong proficiency in Python for test automation, hardware diagnostics, and data analysis.

• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (Ethernet, Routing) and large-scale network design.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams, including hardware, software, and architecture groups.

• Curiosity and a problem-solving approach, driven to understand how things work at the fundamental level.

Ways to Stand Out From the Crowd

• Expertise in Ethernet protocols, L2/L3 routing, and large-scale data center network topologies.

• Proficient in scripting tools for traffic generation (e.g., IXIA, Spirent) to compose intricate traffic scenarios, rather than simply running pre-existing scripts.

• Expertise in validating and stress-testing network systems at the component level (e.g., NICs, Switches), with a focus on hardware diagnostics beyond standard protocol testing.

• Familiarity with the unique network architectures and operational challenges of large-scale AI, HPC, or hyperscale data center environments (e.g., RDMA/RoCE, congestion control, high-radix fabrics).

• Hands-on experience in configuring and managing datacenter network equipment.

What you'll be doing:

• Characterization of electro-optical components and subsystems in their development stage, including development of novel electro-optical characterization setups.

• Be a part of a highly skilled and professional team, and work closely with experts in the field of Silicon Photonics.

• Work with top of the art high-speed testing equipment (Scopes, PPG, AWG, BERT).

• Define testing requirements for new sub-systems based on electrical and optical specifications.

• Get involved in projects of R&D teams developing future capabilities.

What we need to see:

• MSc \ PhD degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering/ Physics related degree in engineering or electro-optics fields is required.

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in electro-optical lab work.

• Strong capability for learning and entering new fields and passion for experimental observation of physical phenomena.

• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills, with an ability to guide and influence.

• Ability and willingness to take ownership and lead activities.

We’re building foundational infrastructure to secure AI agents — including their identities, access patterns, and interactions with sensitive systems and data. This includes designing intelligent, dynamic mechanisms for ephemeral access control, secrets management, and agent/user identity tailored to modern agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, and beyond.

You’ll help define how agents (both machine and human-facing) authenticate, receive scoped access, perform actions securely, and leave behind a verifiable audit trail.

Responsibilities:

• Develop secure, scalable Python services to support agent identity, secrets access, credential management, and authorization flows.

• Implement JWT-based agent/user authentication, and real-time policy checks based on agent context and tool usage.

• Build SDKs, wrappers, and tool integrations that enable popular agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, etc.) to securely request and use secrets.

• Collaborate closely with the architect and other engineers to design components with clear boundaries and clean contracts.

• Ensure secrets and credentials are injected only when needed, redacted from logs, and never persist in agent memory or prompts.

• Write thorough tests and maintain high-quality, well-documented code.

• Work cross-functionally with internal platform, AI, and security teams to understand requirements and refine implementation plans.

• 5+ years of backend or systems development experience, primarily in Python.

• Strong understanding of secure API development, authentication models (JWT, OAuth2), and basic access control patterns.

• Exposure to secrets management platforms (AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArk Conjur, etc.) - bonus.

• Familiarity with or strong interest in AI agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, etc.).

• Exposure to identity and access management concepts — especially in zero-trust or dynamic runtime environments — is highly valuable.

• Experience building SDKs or developer-focused tools is a plus.

• A security-first mindset, attention to detail, and strong debugging/testing skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you’ll be interfacing with multiple engineering groups to deliver complete and secure solutions.
